+GeoBroke
My brother is getting married in a month and we are thinking of buying them a GPS since we all backpack, and hike together. My question is what online retailer does everyone recommend? I haven't been to this site for quite sometime now and I remember there being a direct link to buying units online but I can't find it. What do you all think of buying through https://www.gpsexplorer.com Thanks for the info, GeoBroke Quote Link to comment
k1w1t1m
I can recommend GPSnow. They were fast shippers and had good prices when my wife and I bought our two Legend CXs. They even called to verify as I have an out of state phone number. Quote Link to comment
+GeoBroke
I am looking to get a Megellan as I already have one and the software to go with it. GPSNow only deals with Garmin. Quote Link to comment

andygriffith
I used pricegrabber.com Right now you can get a new 60CSX shipped to your door for $390 from Certified Digital. http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod...ch=garmin+60csx Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Amazon.com is a good place to look. If they don't have the best price, they're usually within a few bucks and their customer service is pretty good Quote Link to comment
+GeoBroke
Thanks to everyone for the reply. I found a good deal on www.buydig.com Now I will go check out my local Costco to see what they have and decide from there. Quote Link to comment
+CachemanCando
I am looking to get a Megellan as I already have one and the software to go with it. GPSNow only deals with Garmin. I can recommend Vanns in Montana. I have bought my two Magellans there. Quick service, decent price. Don't forget about Thales $30 - $50 rebate depending on what model Magellan you buy. Good luck and congrats of the wedding! Quote Link to comment
+DconBlueZ
I got a very good deal on an eXplorist 210 at Kid Well - http://www.kidwell.biz/ As CachemanCando says, there is a rebate offer from Thales until June 10, I think. Quote Link to comment
tsk1979
The golden rule : No matter where you buy from, always go to resellerratings.com and check for store rating. Best way to catch fly by night operators Quote Link to comment

+MAG315
I'll kick in another vote for TigerGPS. I ordered my GPS late Thursday night and it was in my mailbox first thing Monday morning. Good price too. Quote Link to comment
+GeoBroke
Thanks for those who mentioned tigergps.com I placed an order on buydig.com (we bought out digital camera from them) and took until yesterday for them to tell me the item is on backorder. I called TigerGPS this morning to see if they had one, and it has already been shipped! It was $10 more then buydig.com but its worth it to get it faster. Quote Link to comment
