  1. Sent PayPal in the other day. THANKS
  2. This reminds me of last year... 90 minutes wasted in front of the computer refreshing as fast as I could and never getting a chance to purchase one. I guess I will do what I did last year and wait for them to show up on eBay and pay the inflated price just so I can have one.
  3. I'm the one that suggested the corn stocks only because I can relate Indiana to corn easier than I can to canals. Although after thinking about it I just live about two miles from Tow Path which is a county road that ran along the canal. I live fairly close to the Wabash River so back in the old days there was a canal that ran through here. Yahoo, now I can relate to the new Indiana Geocoin ha ha. Like that TV commercial used to say, "There’s more than corn in Indiana!". Last years coin was easy to relate to because I live in Parke County with all of these covered bridges. In fact I have caches at most of them including the Narrows bridge GCX3AW. The Narrows Bridge was built by my wife's great-great grandfather J.A. Britton so I can relate to the 2005 Indiana State coin very well. I said earlier whatever is decided I would be happy with it. Now BRING ON THE COIN! How much and when/where do we order.... Cowboy
  4. I too am having problems with the form. I'm sure it is because the software on my office computer is out dated. I sent an email with my request plus I will send the form later today if you need that. Please send me a PayPal invoice for 1 Regular 1 Limited Edition Thanks, Cowboy
  5. Any news or updates, it has been a week since I seen anything. Can’t wait to get a hold of the new coins whatever you all decide on. Cowboy
  6. I sort of liked that one, too...and that is on my backup list. What woding would you put on that one? How about "Caching The Heartland". Don’t throw rocks, it was just an idea...
  7. Got mine in the mail yesterday and when I got home from work I put it in one of my caches.... Bowsher Ford Covered Bridge
  8. Do you have a Rural King in your area? There is one in Terre Haute and another one in Paris, IL. You can buy 50 cal ammo cans for $3.99 each. They might have a little surface rust but the seals are good and the insides are clean.
  9. I think the state seal would look neat on the coin but probably not with the state on the front side. Put me down for about 5-10 coins when they come out. I had to pay $20 for the 05 coin on eBay but I wanted one real bad! I personally like the idea of having a tracking number on them so I can release a few in caches and watch them travel. However, I understand if you have no intent to turn one loose and watch it travel from cache to cache that is probably a waste of money. Indiana cropland feeds a lot of America, which might be worth considering too. Maybe a picture of an ammo box in front of some corn stocks??? Whatever everyone decides I'm sure will be nice. I know I can't wait to get one! Cowboy
  10. Looks like a really cool program! I can't wait to try it but I can't generate "My Finds" for another day or two. I built a new pocket query with just my finds and tried to use it but the program told me the GPX file didn't come from a "My Finds" query. I sure wish I would have saved my last query
  11. Here is one of those wet logs... The log is in the lower right corner. I could have put a scrap piece of paper in there but before long it would have ended up looking like the rest of the paper in the cache. I took a picture and posted it in the online log and emailed the owner. Looks like the first entry about a wet log was 4 months ago. I listed this as a find.
  12. After reading all of this I feel really bad because last week I was out geocaching at 2:00 in the morning. Somewhere along the way I lost my pen and was not able to sign 3 different micros that didn’t contain a pencil. I did claim them as a find and documented why I didn’t sign it. I took a picture of each log with my camera phone and told the owner in the log I had a picture of the log for verification if they wanted to see it for verification. I didn’t post it with the online log because it contained clues to the final cache. Now, after reading this I guess I didn’t find them at all.
  13. I've used Plucker and CacheMate, I prefer CacheMate. I also use CacheMate with GSAK and have just recently started using a macro in GSAK to pull the found information from my Palm database and load it into GSAK. The macro will then open the cache in GC.com and with the press of a button transfer the log information that I originally recorded into CacheMate when I was out in the field to the log on GC.com. Talk about a BIG time saver!
  14. X2 I found a Garmin GPSMap 60CSx on Amazon or someplace like that for $395 and sent the details to them for price match and they sold it to me for $393.00 with free shipping!
  15. So does that mean you can get more coverage from City Navigator than you can with City Select? I have City Select and understand it has smaller map sections or “tiles” than City Navigator does. So if it takes 5 tiles of City Select to equal what City Navigator covers in 3 you would end up with more map coverage with Navigator over Select, correct?
  16. I was just in Gander Mountain today and they still sell the 60cs. You can get City Select v7 for the 60cs too. I just loaded it on mine this week.
