There have been quite a few mix-ups and errors on this site, and I was wondering how a coin which is supposed to be up for sale on Feb. 28th, just happens to fall out of the blue and that a few people were able to buy them. Yet, when I check out the site, it clearly says Feb. 28th. I had an incident with them on the Mississippi coin a little while back and I was told that their computers records everything and that a mistake cannot happen, that it must have been a mistake on my part, even though the same thing happened to a few of us. This one for the Ozark Mountian Geocachers. It is one of the groups I am a member of. The other states are mentioned(recognized) because I am a Member of the TRI-STATES Geocachers,Kansas,Oklahoma and Arkansas. Where I also geocache and have geocaches. I was talking and talked to them about doing a State geocoin but it still has not happened. This is a tribute to this region really.... But I live in Missouri. 1000 were made. The cost of minting will be recouped and the rest of the geocoins are going in geocaches. Thanks everyone. There is more to the story too. +sawblade5 Posted March 23, 2006 Share Posted March 23, 2006 One of my Ark-MO coins looks kinda messed up where some of the paint is smeared and it looks like there's chips and blemishes in the coin. The Tracking number is barley still visable but there is a chip spot there too.
