ZackJones
While surfing around on Ebay I ran into this item: GEOCACHE! Ammo Can with Scissors, Swiss Army Knives If the date were April 1st I might have thought it was kind of funny.... Quote Link to comment

Stunod
He has two for sale. Some one ought to drop a line to Ebay about this. Why, is there something illegal about his sale? Quote Link to comment
wimseyguy
I'm only bidding if he promsies to fly it to me in person, and only use carry-on baggage. Quote Link to comment
LthrWrk
Seems he is rather clueless about geocaching.. but that does not stop people from putting just about anything on eBay. ooops ya even me. Quote Link to comment

Renegade Knight
I can see them confiscating the knives and scissors. But did they confiscate the ammo can as well? Quote Link to comment

bug and snake
I just checked this one - it finishes in a few minutes and he has a bid of $3.60 - S&H is $9.95 Someone is not gonna get rich!!!!! Also, the guy seems to be a trader in knives, scissors and multi-tools. Looking for a new approach to selling them I guess. Edited December 24, 2004 by bug&snake Quote Link to comment
Camo-crazed
What a great idea a whole cache full of sharp stuff and for a great price!!! sharp things are useful, but not good trade items Quote Link to comment
orome
I think it's okay just so long as nobody runs with it. Quote Link to comment
Confucius' Cat
Now, Now! The item is CLEARLY advertised as a ready-to-go geocache. Jeremy would be legally obligated to list it by law! (Who is GC to go against the big boys at E-bay) Just write "Danger Explosives" on the side and place it under a railroad trestle next to a busy military airfield, mark the cache page "this one is for the little children", and you're good to go. dantonac
He has two for sale. Sent him a question to see if he knows that this stuff is not allowed. It isn't allowed according to GC.com, that doesn't make it illegal. None of the items in the cache are illegal in the state I live in anyway. Let's not forget that not all caches are GC.com caches. Still, I do find the contents to be amusing given that most cachers, particularly those with kids probably wouldn't appreciate the sharp instruments in the cache. Personally I would love to get one of those swiss army knives in a cache though. Pretty sweet swag if you ask me. Oh, and those surgical scissors make excellent nail clippers/cutters. Besides, for the price the can alone is worth it, keep the swag for yourself Quote Link to comment

Niss Feiner
I never saw a problem with little swiss tools, as long as its a high enough quality and wont open on its own, it makes great swag. I personally leave them in caches, and am very happy to pick them up. Niss Quote Link to comment
