+78Firedog
Just an idea for a cache. I thought it might be cool for different cachers to set up caches all over the country where you trade recipes. The owners could copy the recipes that are being traded and eventually submit them to Geocaching.com to make an official geocaching cook book. The proceeds could go to Geocaching, national parks commissions, or a suitable charity. I'm sure that I'm not the only cacher who likes to cook. Quote Link to comment

+The SuzyQs
There is a cache similar to this here in Jacksonville, al though it is a recipe exchange cache. Bring one and take one. Neat Idea. My wife collects cookbooks and we would buy one if one was available. Kind of a GeoCooking Guide... lol Here is a link to the one here: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...4c-c1aee33f7b66 Quote Link to comment
+ZackJones
If for some reason the cache idea doesn't pan out release a cookbook TB Zack Quote Link to comment
+78Firedog
The travel bug idea sounds like a pretty good idea too. BTW, I won't be mad if someone decides to do this. I would, but I hardly have the time to get out caching myself. Quote Link to comment
+The Roving Ravenstones
I like the idea, I was going to create and release a TB tomorrow, can I use the idea, please Quote Link to comment
+Robespierre
You need one of Scook's Cincinnati Chili Recipe Magnets. Quote Link to comment

Happy caching. My idea was for the travel bug. If anyone wants to do it I say Go For It! I'm seriously considering releasing a TB to collect recipes. Zack Quote Link to comment

+Momyar
Look and see if you can find "a write your own cookbook" cookbook. I got one from a fund raiser someone's child was having at school. That way it becomes a TB and folks just add their recipes. Edited August 31, 2004 by Momyar Quote Link to comment
+Enspyer
This cache fits your discription. It looks cool, even though I haven't found it yet. It has an additional theme to the cookbook too! Check it out! Quote Link to comment
thorin
It has been done but I'd definately contribute Thorin Quote Link to comment
+78Firedog
I'm really glad to see that this topic spawned such a discussion. I'm going to look for one of those cookbooks. The Pirate recipe cache is really cool too. I just thought it would be cool to make an official geocaching cook book. I have no problem with anyone using any of the ideas presented here. I just want the recipes Quote Link to comment
Dinoprophet
There's a park near me named Macarthur Park. I thought that would be a great place for a recipe exchange cache. Haven't done it yet though. Quote Link to comment
