+nittany dave
I've been unable to access the site for over 2 hours now. Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. +Roadster
I'm thinking a router problem, tried to ping them but no return. The problem with the gene pool is that there is no lifeguard. Quote Link to comment

+erik88l-r
There are two things I always regret not doing: One is marking where I parked as a waypoint before heading out into the woods to cache. The second is printing out cache pages the night before. Actually I'd planned to review/approve/post caches this morning because the queue of new submissions was rather long last night. Bummer. Can't approve caches, can't hunt caches. Now I have to mow the lawn. Yikes! erik - geocaching.com admin lackey ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Ah, my avatar showed up! The sites back! +leatherman
I can't even log in to the forum when the servers are reset. Elias
Jeremy forgot to feed his ants and they went foraging for food and some of them got into the server and fried themselves. I had to vacuum out the dead carcasses and restart the server. All should be back to normal now. -Elias Quote Link to comment

Team Bohica
Is noone else bothered with the single point of failure for the sport? This is why duping your caches to 'other' sites might be a good idea. Also, I'm surprised at the number of cachers I've met that post sites then don't keep their own cache coords handy 'just in case'. -- Not Necessarily Interesting News Quote Link to comment
+Team Shibby
I have all the caches I want to visit printed out and organized inside plastic sheet protectors. They are kept in the caching bag, so I can grab and go. One thing I try to do however is log onto the site before I go out just to check and make sure that the caches I plan to visit haven't been archived. If I can't do that, well I chance looking around for nothing. I'll just find out for sure when I get home. TEAM SHIBBY!!!! Krs, Kar & Na Quote Link to comment
+mtn-man
Ah, yes... Thank you for GPX and for Palm Compatible Data! I still had the 400+ GA caches I haven't found in my PDA and my GPSR. I found one that was nagging at me and another that had not been found since October ! Good to see the site slowly coming back tonight. Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
Yup, a stack of printouts in the car, ready to go at all times. And here I was cursing AOL again. +Smitherington
Is this some kind of a rotten joke? Someone mentioning that they have to mow the lawn? It was zero out this morning with quite a snow cover!! Tonight it is all the way up to 5 degrees!! Still no grass!! Quote Link to comment
+GeoCrickets
Someone mentioning that they have to mow the lawn If I don't mow my lawn once every two weeks it can get realy bad. However with 70 Deg. weather all I want to do is go caching.. And nothing gets done. Quote Link to comment
+leatherman
My lawn stays green all year. Even though it was snowing the other day, my lawn is growing already. I'm gunna have to mow it very soon. +Team Shibby
That the search function has not been up to par lately. I try searching for the most basic things and it returns nothing... I.E. A search for "Garmin V" brings up just 1 post and its from 2001. I understand that a search for something so common would normally generate tons of stuff but not lately, or at least the last month or so. Anyone else?? Kar TEAM SHIBBY!!!!
