It was hard to work with! (maybe it's the beer/wine factor?) icon_biggrin.gif

All I need to do now is remove my invisible cap and cover the cache.......hehehe

KINDA ON SUBJECT: When I resize a photo for upload, I'm left with white space the size of the original all around the photo. Can someone please explain how to eliminate this annoyance?

What software are you using?

Can't help ya with that one.

In Fireworks, there's two options for resizing - image size and canvas size. It looks like your software is resizing the image (foreground), but leaving the canvas (background) unchanged. Check for an option like that (foreground vs. background, or canvas). You could also select just the image, copy it to the clipboard and paste it into a new image. Most image manipulation programs I've used will import the contents of the clipboard, so if you select File/New, it'll have the size of the clipboard image as the default new image size.

Hopefully that made some sense and will help. I'm kinda tired right now, so it may not have...

Either...

Having the GPSR's attached to my head helps me find the caches faster, but it is harder to read the display.

Or...

George shows off his new GPSR earrings from Garmin.

Sept1c_tank -- after you resize try doing a crop around the edges of your photo. Hopefully that will get rid of any of the extraneous background whitespace.

DapperDanMan -- We have two airedales... LOVE the photo!

And finally ... ChrisfromMS -- Eeeewww! And ROFL. And ewwwww!

Septic: Not sure of the software but most graphic software has crop to selection, so use the rectangular marquee and then crop to selection. Then save

I bought a GPS. Now I get lost with style.

Tried that...it still comes up with the large white background.

Septic: Is there a way to change the canvas size? perhaps you are resizing a layer, leaving the canvas the original size. Just tossing out Ideas.

Wow, these are getting good. I was emailed a photo to put up but I'm going to save it. Markwell is the star of that one. I don't want to flood the forum with too many of these too soon.
