There is something the size of a dustbin hidden somewhere in Cornwall. I've not found it yet, but then again, I've not looked either. Quote

I've not found it yet, but then again, I've not looked either.Biggest I've found is an OpenCache, also in Cornwall. It's a flare bottle about half the size of a dustbin, but despite its size it's a genuine hide. And it's full of a huge number of good quality, original swaps. Rgds, Andy Quote
+Birdman-of-liskatraz Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 There's the one Stuey referred to which was hidden by two friends and myself, it's 130 litres in size, so big enough to get a teenager into! Info Here Quote

+Master Mariner Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 The largest I have come across is this one that has been around for a few years now. The picture gallery gives an indication of size but, you know what they say, size isn't important!!! Quote

team tisri Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 I found one not far from Wimbledon that must have been between 8-10 litres in size. Not huge, but not bad for being so close to London. Quote
+FancoverFive Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 The largest one I found in the UK has been this one, which I only found today. I have found one slightly larger one, though, in Canada, which was GC15KB6. Quote
+Stokesy Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 The largest, and possibly the most memorable and bizarre, cache I've ever found was GC1BZJY Dave - Looking out for his Brother. Sadly now archived, but I think the "container" has been re-used somewhere else. Quote
Deceangi Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Well I can honestly state that the most unusual cache I personally have seen, was one which could move under it's own steam Read the Hint for The Cache With The Hole In It to find out what size the container was. And yes your reading it correctly it was Deci Quote
+Subedei Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 My biggest (and best) find was the excellent Tom's Treasure Chest (GCH1B2) unfortunately it's gone AWOL which is criminal as it was really quite special ( Gallery ) Regards Sub Quote

Tom's Treasure Chest was my 3rd or 4th ever find and no cache container that I have found since has been as special as that one! Really sad that it has gone missing. Quote

Its not too far from London and part of a series the Moulsford Downs, a nice countryside walk of 14 caches over about 5 miles, circular taking you right back to your car! so you could make an afternoon of it? +zarbi&zarbibird Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 One of the largest you'll find in London is our Stump the common tub cache GC1E4PN. A handy cache to put those larger-than-average TBs in. Quote
+Delta68 Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 (edited) I think the now archived GCP63E The Iron Mountain Travel Bug Motel is the largest we've ever found Mark Edited May 14, 2010 by Delta68 Quote
+Smithbats Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 This one GC24MRN is a big box. When we placed it, we couldn't decide to put it as a regular or large. We went for regular.... Quote
+westdorsetgardners Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Our latest cache is a tank shell holder/case and is pretty big http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...95-05bcb96af4a0 But we want to go bigger and have the perfect cache to hide but as yet have not decided where! Quote
+Teuchters Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 This is one of the largest ammo cans I've ever seen - mind you it was in Alabama US... Quote
