  1. As a question is not forthcoming I think it should go back to the previous questioner!
  2. Think you'll find the vista isn't paperless!
  3. I didn't save the details of the project ape cache and now they've disappeared - has anyone got the link or know the name? Cheers, Pete.
  4. I'd be interested in listening. I use my ipod everyday and a monthly podcast sounds about right, I'm always interested in Uk based geocache news. Not sure I'd be able to contribute much beyond criticism though due to lack of time to go caching!
  5. You can get a Garmin etrex legend hcx on pixmania for £125 at the moment, then buy a micro sd card, download talkys maps and you'll have all you need.
  6. I assume that you'll be signing up to a data bundle so providing you have phone signal reception you have full access to the internet and therefore geocaching.com. I do on my magic which is made by htc on the same android platform.
  7. I've an Oregon 300 and you can get the same screen, you only get the last 5 logs though I think.
  8. Ive got an Oregon 300 with the national Parks maps prepossessing. you can set different profiles on it including cycling its also waterproof. Ive not had too many issues over the screen, but it is angled towards me on the bike. If your specifically after good gps units for cycling have you tried asking on a cycling forum too?
  9. Nope. Personally I think the evidence for Christopher Marlow writing them is much more convincing, however I expect the answer you're looking for is 154 (according to my Pears Cyclopaedia 113th edition). 154 is the answer I'm after so the ding goes to MartyBartFast!
  10. Nope, not a bad guess maxkim but ryuchan is still closest.
  11. Sorry simplypaul - ryuchan was closer. Any more guesses?
  12. During his lifetime Shakespeare wrote over 37 plays, but how many sonnets did he write?
  13. Cheers for getting back so quick, I'll definitely check out gpscity. nice bikes by the way, safe ridding!

  15. I'm not sure it'd be much different then your current etrex? again it depends what your after and why you want to upgrade?

  17. I agree - I have the Oregon RAM mount on my motorcycle but the Garmin one is well made and perfectly adequate for a mountain bike or car dash. What mount are you using and where did you get it? I'm also interested in what bike you've got and how it attaches as I want to mount my Oregon onto my cbr.
  18. I've an Oregon 300 which is a great bit of kit for what I use it for (geocaching, cycling, occasionally directions ), but that doesn't mean its best for you. Also it's the only gps I've owned (except tomtom) so I've nothing to compare it to. Might be helpful if you list the features you want and what you use it for then the collective wisdom on here can probably suggest relevant Units and places with deals to suit your budget.
  19. What are the downside to enabling waas?
