user13371
...looking at the different models to replace my 60CSx and got to wondering what other folks are using? You're already using the GPS that more geocachers own than any other... http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=232223 so looking at "what other folks are using" may not be the best way to pick out a new GPS. What features are you looking for? Quote Link to comment
VWDave
Paperless with one unit. My 60 is really been off the last few days I've cached. But this came up as more of a curious question Quote Link to comment

Chi-Town Cacher
Howdy! Well I've got 2 GPSr's that I love and can't imagine ever being without. The first one is the Delorme PN-40. That's my main go to GPSr for at home and also if I'm traveling for my destination location. If you're curious what I personally see as some of the pros and cons of this unit you can CLICK HERE to see a post I wrote about the Delorme PN-40. My other GPSr that I couldn't imagine ever willingly giving up would be my Geomate Jr.. While this little GPSr is geared towards a childs level it comes preloaded with a whopping 250,000 geocaches already preloaded onto it. The other thing that makes me love my Geomate Jr. is the fact that although it feels a little slow when it's initially locking onto the satallites, but once it does it locks onto the satallites with the determination of a pitbull and is as accurate (and sometimes more accurate) than much more expensive GPSr's. If you're bored and would like to read more about the Geomate Jr. you can CLICK HERE.. While my PN-40 is used in my home area and at my destination the Geomate Jr. is used for all locations between my home area and my destination. Both of these units compliment each other very nicely and serve me very well to fill in a specific kind of niche aspect that the other GPSr maybe struggles with little bit. The bottom line is that as long as I've got my Delorme PN-40 and my Geomate Jr. then I know I'm set for any type of geocaching adventure. Quote Link to comment
user13371
To answer the original question: I currently own an iPhone, a DeLorme PN-40, and a Garmin eTrex Legend HCX. In the past month I've also used a Dakota 10, a 60csx, and a really old Trimble GeoXT (though not for geocaching). Edited October 12, 2009 by lee_rimar Quote Link to comment
Knight2000
If you drive multiple cars I suggest throwing a unit in each cars glove box. I have been out countless times not expecting to cache and wishing I had my GPSr with me. Now I have several loaded to put one in each of my cars. Quote Link to comment
Maingray
Hey Dave. Garmin Oregon 300 - paperless, stable, imagery, accurate, routing. Geomate.jr - useful for kids and slacker cache run companions Quote Link to comment

SidAndBob
GPSmap 60CSx and HTC TyTN II. The CSx is getting long in the tooth, but there's nothing I would even consider "upgrading" it for currently, so I'll hang on until SiRF Star IV enters the market proper. Quote Link to comment
