  1. I see nothing distasteful here. The Major won the Medal of Honor, our nation's highest decoration. Today, we use the word hero so frequently it has come to mean almost nothing. Sergeant United State Marine Corps 1967-1971 "Affording the enemies of America the opportunity to die for their country since 1775."
  2. Not sure I understand what all the fuss is about over horse, what you call, poo. Out here in Oklahoma, we just call 'em road apples. Common as leaves on the trees.
  3. Rather have the Peanut Song stuck in my head than American Pie! I hate that song, it's not fair to record a song that lasts 2.5 hours long! Drove my Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry... Thanks a lot...........................PAL! Just thought of another one I can't stand: Why the devil would anyone ride on a horse with no name and across a desert? Must be one of them city fellers!

  5. Condoms in a cache? Inappropiate. What bittsen is true. We carried tampons in our flight suits when available. They were sent from home on a regular basis.
  6. Summer: I wear Marine Corps MARFAT digital camo. Very comfy and I can carry concealed. I also wear snake boots or snake chaps. I try to stay away from urban areas and micros. Winter: Sit by the wood stove and grumble about the weather.
  7. Yes, Bittsen is a confirmed genius. Bittsen is usually quite humble of it but Bittsen believes some people should know, in advance, of Bittsen's geniusness. Wonders never cease, eh? How's come yer don't come to the MENSA meetings anymore? We miss your rapier wit! And your dues are in arrears. You are incorrect, Sir. Following in the footsteps of my Uncle, I have declined membership in MENSA, though I have passed their test for membership. So, I am not in arrears on dues. My grandfather, however, was a member. Well, dang it, guess I gotta' give you that one. You going to tell us your score? I took the test too, way too easy and boring. Folded up my test sheet into an airplane and tossed it in Connecticut and it landed at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Az. I do enjoy our banter, however, we will NEVER agree on politics! My grandfather was a Jedi Knight! Many don't realize that the "test" for MENSA is not always a "test" that you take to get into MENSA. In fact, you can qaulify in many ways and forms. Because you asked, I will allow you to have a little insight. I first qualified for MENSA when I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade. Yes, you can become a MENSA member that young. My parents didn't want me to be acknowledged that way but I was put into advanced learning. For many reasons (unrelated to intelligence) I left the advanced learning curriculum. I then qualified for MENSA two other times before I graduated high school. I can say I have no idea what test(s) i was given when I was in 2nd and 3rd grades. I only remember that there was a big deal being made about me being in the "wrong classes" and having to meet with a lot of different people taking a LOT of on the spot exams. My "score" was simply that I qualified, as best as I can remember. You are right. We will never agree on politics. I'm simply too open minded to follow your political trail. ~LOL~ Now that's interesting. I was listening to our "mutual friend," Glenn Beck, a short while ago and he was talking about a 2 yr. old boy in England who is a genius. He was talking when he was 9 months old! Wish I could find out who the little guy is, that would make good reading there.

  10. If your family tree looks like a phone pole............there's your sign!
  11. I hang out at military/firearms forums a lot were most are men. But here? Guess I don't give it much thought. Maybe I should?
  12. Beautiful job! Outstanding! Now that's a cache even I could find!......'Course 'ya gotta' keep the lights on.
  13. steve p is right. However, experienced MD users don't actually dig holes. We dig plugs, examine them, and CAREFULLY replace them, not unlike replacing a divot. You would be hard put to find evidence where an experienced MD'er has been "swinging."
  14. And when everybody has this new lingo all "knowed-up" and we're all comfy using it, why we're changing it all to Italian! At least I'll have a fighting chance this time around!
