+Stuey
I just saw that! Maybe we can make it a MEGA event? I've seen some other mega events that didn't make the 500 mark.... there must be room for negotiation? It's gonna be mega anyway Cool that Jeremy is coming over! Quote Link to comment

Lactodorum
I just saw that! Maybe we can make it a MEGA event? I don't know if Jeremy has sampled Real English ale before so buy him a few beers and I reckon he'll be open to all sorts of suggestions!! Anyway, it's great to be able to welcome him and his family to London. Quote Link to comment
Deceangi
It will be nice to meet Jeremy and his family, and he will be meeting cachers from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland Quote Link to comment
+dino-irl
We should start a campaign to get erik to attend and then we would have a full set of reviewers for all of the UK and Ireland with cachers from all member countries and Jeremy in attendance. Now that would be a Mega Event Quote Link to comment

Thanks for the kind words, dino-irl. I had very much hoped to be able to attend, but made a decision early in the year to leave my job after 20 years and look for a new one. Now that I've found one I really can't leave yet to participate in this event. It was a rough decision...... make a living, or attend an event I'd really been looking forward to. I'm still second guessing the decision.... Drink a beer for me though! ~erik~ Quote Link to comment

Actually, I'm probably not going to be able to get to this event, but I'll drink a beer for you anyway, lol...! Quote Link to comment
+Haggis Hunter
Deccy nearly had kittens when I made the below comment on the GeoX forum over a month ago. It does come across as though you have organised something good at the event, such as Jeremy doing a cameo appearance??? As much as I would like to meet Jeremy. It would cost to much to take time off work and come down. I hope everyone makes him welcome. Quote Link to comment
