+The Cache Hoppers
Sussed out Saturday am what you were up to after a phone call from a cacher who had spotted your log on a cache she was at. Well done! You're mad!! Quote Link to comment

+Foinavon
I broke my own personal record yesterday by finding a grand total of EIGHT caches. So congratulations on 121, I have someway to go before I can attempt to break the record! Quote Link to comment
+House Of Boo
A huge Congrats to Davyboy & Kinky Kimbo. Way to feel the burn Youze Guyz & Galz! Hopefully see you soon so you can tell us how you did it and more importantly what possessed you! House Of Boo Quote Link to comment
Nediam
Well done on setting the new record Great achievement!!! Quote Link to comment
+Bambography
Great effort!! Keep thinking about an attempt at something like this, but currently my record is 17 so a little way to go (plus i'm far to lazy to really try..!) Well done! Quote Link to comment
+Simply Paul
A big well done from me too! A hell of a day out, by the sounds of it. Quote Link to comment
+keehotee
Just out of interest (tee hee) - does anybody know what the solo record is (caches found by one person on their own?)? Not that I'd ever try for it. Ever. Honest Quote Link to comment
+rutson
It just so happens, I was wondering that too.... Quote Link to comment
+Happy Humphrey
It just so happens, I was wondering that too.... So was I (not that I would attempt it). The rules would have to include: 1. no caches that you've ever searched for previously (whether or not logged) 2. no beta (i.e. no information on cache locations beyond what can be gleaned from the web page) 3. you'd have to do all the driving yourself (a non-caching partner could come along for company but wouldn't be allowed to help) 4. all caches to be logged properly (i.e. in the log book with the date and signature) Oh - congratulations on the 121! +Alibags
Well done to DavyBoy and Kinky Kimbo!!! I bumped into these mad people on Saturday and followed them around for a few caches. Judging from the wobbly writing in the logs and and confusion as to just exactly which way was up some 8 or 9 hours into their run, it was hard work! Sooner them than me! SlytherinAlex
3. you'd have to do all the driving yourself (a non-caching partner could come along for company but wouldn't be allowed to help) Don't agree with that part. For safety reasons, I don't see the problem with some one helping out with the driving. a Quote Link to comment
+Happy Humphrey
Don't agree with that part... ...see the "Rules for record attempts" thread Quote Link to comment
+keehotee
I don't see the problem with some one helping out with the driving. Except if you had a driver you'd have an unfair advantage in that they could drive around and pick you up at the end of a run, instead of you having to walk back to the car (along a canal, for instance) Quote Link to comment
+mongoose39uk
Now the thread has been hijacked and abandoned, can someone please bring it back on track and congratulate these people on what is after all their record Quote Link to comment
DaBeEm
Yes - great effort - well done from us! Quote Link to comment
+Kinkykimbo
Thanks to everyone that has congratulated us. I can now say that it was great fun. I didnt think it was fun before as by the end of the 24 hours I declared that I never wanted to see another cache as long as I live. It was really hard work, the blisters on my feet say it all.......but for the sense of acheivement it was worth it. Thank goodness for redbull Thanks to Dave and Andy for putting up with my moaning, 24 hours without my beauty sleep sent me insane An experience I wont forget in a while!!! I always say "Its not about the numbers" but for that 24 hours it was!! Its good to get back to normal again. Quote Link to comment
+Kinkykimbo
Oh and nice to bump into Alibags on the way, cant say I looked my best though..... Edited July 16, 2007 by kinkykimbo Quote Link to comment
