I read the log of your epic journey. You are truly crazy, P-W. Congratulations on conquering Whitney!

 

 

I finally got a chance to read PW's log. That was cool! ;) I would actually like to that hike someday. But first I need to get in much much better shape. I know when I did San Jacinto from the tram (which is about half the Whitney hike in both vertical and distance) we felt the effect of altitude. It's hard to explain but we got kind of dreamy. My son and I also got headaches but because we (stupidly) ran out of water on the way up. Seemed like the thinner air dried us out faster. Anyhow, it is a goal! Maybe I can do it before I'm 50! :huh:

Congrats to Miragee on reaching 1900 yesterday on Team Gecko's "Katy-Did" cache. Only 100 away from a real big milestone. Glad I was able to witness this one.

Congratulations to The Senior Sleuths on 14,600 days of marriage! Now THAT'S worth a celebration!

sooo, were they not married on the leap days or is an anniversary coming up in a few days? :laughing:

 

I knew someone would catch that. I liked the look of 14.600 rather than 14,610, except now it's 14,613 and that's worse. :)

Congrats to my best friend Tombmaker on reaching and passing very quickly the 2000 milestone.

 

Had an awesome time finding making the A.P.E cache find his milestone cache. It was an amazing road trip of caching. I think he even let me find a cache or two along the. He is just nice that way. God Bless my Brother!!
