  1. Did you get any volunteers???? I would like to know if I should tape the whole show (you never know what's going to happen on a live broadcast ), and I'm unable to watch it since I'm working at that time. Thanx! I think you should hit up Duncan! and GoBolts! since they are usually out caching on Fridays - you'll just have to get them both Caramel Machiatos to wake them up at that hour.
  2. If you do a Google search, you will find several sources online. Here are a couple: http://www.duct-tape.com/camouflage_ducttape.html http://www.cabelas.com/prod-1/0020516416062a.shtml RM I know it sounds funny, but I got some great cammo tape from LL Bean! Two rolls for $13 There is another local source for camo tape, but it's not duct tape, it's gaff tape, so it can be pricey. MSI Production Services 9220 Activity Rd San Diego (Miramar area) The MSI store is on the East side of the building and last time I was over there they had desert camo, tradition and a blue, black, grey camo
  3. I'm finally getting a couple days off to work on the event planning and as soon as I catch up on my email I'll set a date for the first planning meeting. How about we meet for half and hour befor the pizza/coin thing on the 30th and also at the camp-out???? Meeting up before the coin event sounds like a great plan. As for the campout - looks like I'm going to have to miss it this years becasue I forgot I have to go to Vegas for work I'll send out an email to eveyone.

  7. Congrats to duganrm for finally catching up on his cache logging and officially hitting 2000 - WTG Richard!!
  8. Wonder how many of the FTFs they actually grabbed??? As of 8:30 there were still 45 FTFs to be had - unless they are not logged online yet...
  9. I'm thinking of hitting some of the MTB trails in the Canyon Lake area of Riverside County this afternoon. There are over 30 caches in the area that have not been found as of 2 pm today. Anyone feel like heading out there with me and racking up some FTFs??? I was planning on leaving my house in La Mesa around 3 or 3:30 pm and ride until sundown - then heading back.
  10. Where was it stolen from??? I may be upgrading soon, so if yours does not turn up, I'd gladly pass down my regular eTrex to ya Mark.
  11. How about congrats to Chuy!, johaodi and john and "lostguy" for their participation in the Rosarito-Ensenada Bike Ride today - 50 miles!!! WooHoo!! Good Luck you Guys!!!!
  12. In case you have missed the listing on GC.com... We are doing a CITO tomorrow morning in El Cajon - We'll start at 8am and I think we should be able to wrap things up by 11am or noon. The listing is GCY3XP Hope to see some of you out there.
  13. Negative. If you absolutely need to have them now, I have several to sell you at cost, but you'll have to cache your way to Lakeside . I have a couple extras I can bring to the CITO tomorrow.
  14. Clairemont Mesa is a good parking spot especially if you are planning on staying out after sunset - no locked gates etc. Just make sure you park on the street. You have several trails to choose from, but you end up either going up the saddle between the Fortunas or take the "stairs" up to S Fortuna. Oh no!! not the stairs
  15. Paul - I tried to go in the other night from the Park side and there are trail detures - that actually dead ended. When I went the next morning I Park at Steele Bridge and went in from there. I'd be interested in a trip out there again to get the rest of the caches I don't have yet. MTB or hike - either is fine for me. Like lostguy said, the downhills make the MTB more fun
  16. Congrats to Sd Rowdies and also to fisnjack for hitting 1700
