+hiker49
I am interested in possibly becoming a Groundspeak voulunteer cache approver. Can I and if so how much time does it require? Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
How thick is your skin? Do you work with your local cache group? Both are things that help you get selected. Quote Link to comment
Keystone
Hello, Geocaching.com asks geocachers to become volunteer cache reviewers based on an identified need in the local area. Qualifications include experience level (most volunteers have hidden dozens of caches and found hundreds or thousands), reputation within the local geocaching community, involvement with any local geocaching organizations, demonstrated ability to work with land managers, communications skills, and knowledge of the geocache listing guidelines. I would encourage you to hide more excellent caches that comply with the listing guidelines, as a good first step. Quote Link to comment

+briansnat
If you want to be an approver here are the steps to take: 1. Go into your kitchen 2. Find a heavy cast iron pan 3. Hit yourself in the head with it very hard, 5 times. Its almost the same thing and will be a lot easier on your blood pressure. Quote Link to comment
+erik88l-r
Its almost the same thing and will be a lot easier on your blood pressure. It's usually not all that bad. I had my first abusive e-mail in about a month yesterday from someone who placed a vacation cache in Mexico and refused to follow-up on the suggestion that he contact owner's of the caches nearest his to see if they could help with maintenance. It went off me like water off a duck's back. Generally people are quite cooperative, appreciative, and willing to work with us. Even when we call there baby (cache) ugly. ~erik~ Quote Link to comment

"I would encourage you to hide more excellent caches that comply with the listing guidelines, as a good first step." There it is, straight from the horse's mouth. You seem to be in a prime spot for hiding more excellent caches. EDIT: I am not implying that KA is a horse, in case his finger is hovering over the "ban this user forever and ever" button.
