  1. Anyone know where I can still find Mapsource 6.15.7 ??
  2. While you're at it can you remove my name from my profile?? I wouldn't be part of any group that would have me for a member!!
  3. Thanks for the good info. I read the Oregon Wiki and there is one thing I am confused on. With layering maps on top of one another. Is it better to have the 400t and then layer city navigator or inland lakes on top of it or is it better in another configuration. It would seem the ability to have the best configuration, it is essential to have the right unit to start with. Thanks again!
  4. I have a question for those with the Oregon: Which version has the better base map the 400i or the 400t? I live in Florida but I do alot of travelling around the country so I can't just write the t off. Do both versions have streets and navigation? If I buy (let's say) the 400i, can I add the topo maps separately via SD card? Has anyone done this?
  5. I have an older Explorist 600 and anytime I try to zoom out on the map page to 3.5 miles, the unit either crashes and must be hard reset by removing the battery or it reboots itself. Anyone have helpful advice on correcting this frustrating problem?
  6. Hmmm.... I wonder how many people voted for organizations that they are: 1) not affiliated with 2) not the state they reside in Hey Jerry!
  7. Can you be more specific - Why was it a pain to transfer Topo maps? What did you mean that there is no description on the Triton for caches? In the manual or the cache descriptions can not be loaded in? From what I've seen here, cache descriptions can be loaded in using the 3rd party program that is supposed to come with the unit (the name eludes me at the moment)....
  8. Since my explorist is dying - rapidly losing pixels, I'm considering the new triton so I'm gonna listen in on what others are finding.
  9. Unfortunately, I wanted the name of the cache to be in Chinese characters - no way to do that with an image.
  10. Is there a way to use Chinese characters on a cache page? Can I name a cache in Chinese characters? Cutting a pasting doesn't work - the characters change to ????? on the web page.
  11. I am experiencing a strange problem with Google Earth. If I drop a GPX file into the program, it is only displaying the top cache from the GPX instead of displaying all the caches in the file. In the sidebar - all the caches are checked but yet do not display. I thought it may be a glitch with using an older version so I d/led the most recent version but the problem persists. Did I change a setting somewhere to screw this up? Any fixes?
  12. Are you using wap.geocaching.com or another url?

  14. OBJets hosted the event because the only Icon I am missing is attending a CITO. Anyway my car broke down on the way so I missed the event. They changed the name of the event from Come Clean with Dean to Come Clean WITHOUT Dean! And I had to log a DNF for the event!!
  15. I've got a good question for you. What happens when someone has an event and YOU don't show up??? Come Clean WITHOUT Dean
  16. The Stargate caches are awesome! I have one very close to me and I use it all the time. I just wish it was big enough to let me travel through it so I could expand my caching scope! I don't know why people have a hard time understanding how these unique caches work. It's not like wormhole technology is rocket science!
  17. The Florida Geocaching Association has big plans for this year's ICD. One day just is not sufficient. We are planning CITO's for the whole month! Right now we have 8 listed and a few more in the works. Check Florida Geocaching Association to see what this is all about. Also, we have a pleasant surprise for the CITO community coming in the next day or so stay tuned!
  18. Congrats to the winner!! I am already looking forward to it!
  19. You are lucky... the whole site is down now.
