Good news!!

I just got word that Sanruft and Camel680 will be hosting a CITO event in the very near future!! we're leaving Thursday AM, I haven't found the cache to put it in yet but I'm working on the research. We're going to Weiser Idaho and then be roaming around between there and McCall.

I haven't tried to find your cache yet.................

Well if your not comming this way maybe I'll have to find some way to get it to you or just blow it off. If you do plan on finding my cache it's very easy and there is alot of caches in the area so you can make it a caching day out of it if you have time.

I was looking at the areas we're going to and I don't know which ones to download. We won't have a lot of time, and I'm not familiar with the area. There is a cache in Weiser maybe I could do. There was a yellow jeep in it yesterday and of course its gone now. *SIGH*

Its tough figuring out which ones to try when you don't know how much time it will take and if you'll even be near any of them.

That's very true, that always seems to happen to us when we go to places we're not familiar with. What we do it, we download way more then what we think we can do and do only as much as we can.

Oregon Trail Crossing cache TeamTek, this one looks like a safe bet! Even if its only one, I have a TB that needs to travel.

Well if your not comming this way maybe I'll have to find some way to get it to you or just blow it off. If you do plan on finding my cache it's very easy and there is alot of caches in the area so you can make it a caching day out of it if you have time.

I suggest you place it in the Ripon Multi and Travel Bug Hotel. LOL

stage 1 is down. I found the evidence. I can't find the TB Hotel until its fixed...if I have time. It seems thats a difficult one.

As far as Trom's First... that may require TinCan to team up with someone. Since all but one Stocktonite need to locate it, that shouldn't be too difficult to get a partner. In fact you can add to that list, all but one non-Stocktonite as well. I'm not even sure if Ryan or Peter would be able to find it. [Did we just hear a noise] :lol:

I guess this is a very big landmark for the CVC! Maybe someone should get an event planned *cough* Sanfut *cough* Camel*cough* LoL

Well I have ideas for an event. The problem is it requires fair weather!!! Can't be done in the rain. (well it can but most parents wouldn't want their young ones out in the rain!) I might step up here in a bit. I just need to check on a couple of things however first!

I am just waiting for my "travel season"to come to an end. I will be hosting one soon.

Greetings from Madrid!! (I have been here for the week) - Off to London tomorrow. (sigh) I am tired of traveling.

At least I got two caches done here in Madrid. I guess I can now call the trip a success!

Hey that's what I was going to do today!!!! Well not really but we had it as one on our list since we need to go to Tuleburg or Modestville today. We are starting a collection of TBs that want/need/can go to SoCal because we are going away next week too. Not as far as Idaho......man, why can't my relatives live in a cool place like Idaho or Montana or even Oregon??? Guess I might just have to move someday.

ANybody got any TB's they want to go south?

Well at the Historical Society in Micke's Grove I had to rip out a pathway that led to a garden and I replaced it with pavers(bricks). The whole project was about 350sq feet.

Well, send me some tomato juice because I got skunked in Stockton. The Yellow Jeep drew me there and we didn't find it. I haven't logged my DNF yet, but I'm sulking. THere were several possibilities at Thoms first but we had to give up. This was with one muggle break as well.

Good Job ATC! Nice cache Eh? Glad you got to get the Jeep. It had very low Miles on it. I would suggest 4 inch lift with 3 inch body lift, 34X12.50, Dana 44's, ARB lockers, winch,....although It looks pretty darn good as is.

Red92531 [zip code for Tracy, Ca] is a great guy but gets busy from time to time saving us. I'd think with the rains here, his time should be freed up again. It's also possible that while he was off busy protecting all of us, someone decided he was MIA and started archiving all his DNFed caches - which would be enough to tick anyone off. I'd guess he be back soon so hold on.

Then I suggest you don't catch fire! LOL. I wouldn't sweat it Ryan. It's just one of those odities that many of us cachers have... we can't cache as much as we want because something less important [come to think of it, that's everything] always takes priority.

I'm sorry, but IMO if he can't maintain them, he shouldn't hide them. Or he should find someone to watch them and maintain/replace them while he's busy.

I will keep doing my job and archiving any caches I see that go missing and are not replaced within a reasonable period of time. I will also happily unarchive any that do get replaced, as long as they still meet the guidelines (i.e. nothing else has been placed within 528 feet).
