  1. Fumbling farmer... was texting his wrong number so that's why Fizzy was ignoring me... he wasn't getting contacted. SMH
  2. Solved it. It was an archived cache from 3/10/2012. Logged my find and I'll have $ATM$ do the same. Thanks for everyone's help, especially my reviewership, Ice and Wind. https://coord.info/GC28P5K
  3. Yep, I thought I'd inquire here first, but I am now asking a reviewer for (non-spoiler) input. I had also send a PM to a certain friend that masters puzzles, physics, and magic... but he must be a busy fizzy, as no reply. Depending on what I learn, it may become a new cache - if it's not active and it's been almost a year since it was found. I'll update what happens.
  4. Ya, That's not the right state even. Idaho is the place to be (so he loaded up the truck and he head to.... Idaho?).
  5. Lot's of great advise... however... not a single of the 13 signatures on the logsheet (that says "Geocaching.com Game Piece") comes up on a member search, nor variations of their names. The sheets notes "Wet Log Thks Tim" at the top, so I'm sure there were other finders. But these 13 are each signed on different dates ranging from 3/9/2020 thru 5/15/2023.
  6. Don't you hate it when you find a cache that you didn't have prior info on, and then you can 't figure out how to log it? Well, it happened again today. I guess my super powers in the field, beat the heck out of my online skills. Darn farmer is looking for help. Yes, I took a photo of the logsheet and yes I marked the coordinates... and of course I checked all the surrounding puzzle caches and searched all the signatures on the logsheet. What I haven't done/can't do, is search the archives, temp holds, and the super secret puzzle solution locations list - if anyone has that, it would be magical to share (just kidding, kind of). I really would like to solve this in a legitimate way. If that's not possible, I invite a reviewer to receive the coords and logsheet to verify if it's active or archived. My final punt will be to place a cahce there and see if it gets rejected because of crowding. There's more than one way to skin a cat. Help???
  7. Indeed, the group has moved to Facebook and we'd love to see you there Ron.
  8. Happy New Year, CVC. Good Riddens, 2010. Welcome, 2011.
  9. Here it is Greg! Do I get a find prize?! LOL
  10. You can always drop them into your new hides. FTF Prizes.
  11. This is a cool site to help build your Geo-Resume. My Geocaching Profile
  12. That beats me on a few levels, Ted. I've never found a cache outside of USA and I haven't found three (or one even) since Greg and I had our super fun day. In spite of taking gun fire at one cache, DNF on a the second stage of a multi that hadn't been found in over two years, and getting locked out in the wilderness for 3 hours... I'm still looking forward to going out again.
  13. What a fun adventure. I only wish we would have taken pictures of us fording the water! Thanks Greg for going. Greg defies gravity! Greg goes completely crazy! Crossing a bridge to another locked gate. Did I mention we were trapped in the wilderness as someone locked all the gates to get out (or in?)!
  14. What are the chances... I'm ready to spend tomorrow off-road hunting caches at Sonora Pass and I have an empty seat (or three actually). ANYONE into an adventure tomorrow (10/2/10)? I'm leaving CVC at 9am and will be home some time in the evening.
  15. Welcome you two to the addiction. My name is Bill and it's been 7 days since my last find.
  16. But I still like this one... where did everyone go?????
  17. in the 2010 GBES Navigational Rally Off-Road division, FizzyMagic and I placed 3rd.
  18. Just got back from Lovelock, Nv last night. FizzyMagic and I teamed up a "Quantum Leaf" and placed 3rd in the 2010 GBES Navigational Rally in the Off-Road division. While we were there, I found this and thought of our wonderful Approver.
  19. Well, Looking back at there logs back to January, I found one double find log on GC1ZJKP for 3/2/10 and 3/4/10 but for all the other American caches it looks like they sign and note it (based on their log entry on the caches only). The obvious reason that they didn't sign the log on Holy Macro was that they didn't find it and need their find deleted. It is the rules in Geocaching that you sign the log if the cache has one and as my photograph proved, there is a log. Just a bear to find and coming back later to try again is starting the entire search over again! Nasty idea for a cache and I'm only sorry that I didn't think of it first!
  20. I thought we agreed that the easy way was just logging finds. Saves on gas!!
  21. They've done this more than one time (and not likely by mistake)?? I'd delete every last one of their finds and report them the Geocaching, plus slander their caching name on the forums!! But maybe it's just the meds I'm on. I had a successful knee surgery today so I might have a lowered tolerance right now for scamsters.
  22. Please stand. The honorable Ron Streeter, one of CVC's founding fathers, past Geocaching Top Cacher in the World, Devious Hides, Clever Caches, has entered the forums. It's great to hear you're back Ron. I've missed you and was just talking about old times with Tag when the conversation turned to you. We knew you were still lurking but both hoped that one day you'd return. I look forward to chatting when you are ready of need help. Welcome back.
