+Degai
Oh my Goodness; Good Golly, Gee- Look what arrived from FunkMaster-T ! I must say, your package arrived on the most appropriate day . . . we got our first snow of the season! We got just under 2 inches, but way more than I would like to see. What a wonderful package you put together for a winter mission. I love the hat and mittens from the 2009 Olympics! They are georgeous and I cannot wait to wear them! And to answer your question-I will sport them proudly (My husband’s Mom is from Ridgetown, Ontario and I have family in Vancouver, BC-we love Canada!) I love the snowman ornament. I just started decorating my Christmas tree, so this one will go on my tree tonight. I am having a luncheon at my house and the “Nosewarmer Punch” will be a perfect accompaniment to my luncheon. I love the Starry Night coin-I do not own that one. It is like a little stain glass window. It is really beautiful and perfect for the season. The snowglobe bottle topper is awesome. I have never seen anything like that. Thanks for the snowman cup-all in keeping with the snowman theme. Lastly, thank you for including your sig item. It is adorable. I work with polymer clay, so I know these took some time to make-great job. Next, to Geocoins, I love getting sig items! Many, many thanks to you, ("ARTIST") FunkMaster-T, for putting a smile on my face and joy in my heart. May you have a wonderful holiday season! Well, I guess this wraps up this mission. There was a small decorated paint can that held cocoa and marshmellows, but opened and spilled out all over the box. There was a pretty smelling Candle which I cleaned out because Iwant to light it Christmas Eve. A couple of Candy bars, I think I can salvage, they were soaked in the liquid bath soap that managed to unscrew itself. And A caching Canada geocoin and Watermelon Flip Flops Geocoin. Thanx for your thoughtful gift, please next time use bubble wrap or lots of paper as the two small sheets of packing paper didn't protect the cool gifts from our friendly postal services, LOLOL. +Laval K-9
This is all the neat stuff rivercacher sent us. We already ate the wafers and the famous Idaho Spud, very good indeed Some stickers and pins, I really like the one with the ice cream cone since I have all the Solstice coins , cappuccino, a pair of socks, a key ring, a tiny light, a cute little bear, a cache ready to hide and also a nano cache that fits inside a spider, I won't be the one handling this one, that's for sure We didn't have any of the coins we received, a CITO, 2008 Poker Challenge, Powers of Ten and a Minnesota Geocoinfest 2010 micro. Thanks rivercacher for this very nice package Thanks Anne and Lorca for this fun mission Merry Christmas to everyone!!! Quote Link to comment
FunkMaster-T
Here are the Two Younger Handsome Boys modelling the warm winter gear. The black hood will be very effective around these parts as its winter for a very long time. The Orange hood is a scent blocking garment for hunters. I am not a hunter but there are a multitude of them around here so having something bright orange on when walking in the woods is always a good idea!! Thanks (And, yes, I do realize they look like an Iranian couple in this picture...lol) This is the backs of the three great coins we recieved. The top two are signiture items and the bottom one is an Irish coin with a Pathtag Sherpa on board. Love them all. And here are the fronts.. The Irish one says "An T-or" and the yellow circle in the middle is removable. Sorry about the shadow. This was honestly the best pic I could get. http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/oo57/Traveller12/066.jpg And here are the three gifts for the Little HandsomeBoys! They are having a great time playing with the trucks playing "Criss Cross Crash, (or as the littlest HandsomeBoy says "Crystal Crash") and the Truck in the back came with its very own TravelBug Dogtags so once the snow melts we will be releasing it into the world. I was thinking we would give it a mission to try to return to you Opalsns and see how far it gets!! Thanks again for all the great stuff. we really appretiate it and it was well worth the wait. And thanks Lorca for a great mission. It was my first but it certainly won't be my last. ...T. Quote Link to comment

ELTADA
Ok - I don't have time to post a pic but I want to set my sender's mind at ease. THANK YOU Team kizb!!! Your package arrived by way of my neighbour's mailbox who doesn't check her box as fanatically as me! lol! So I got it last night (though I think it was probably delivered a week ago!) and will hopefully have time to post pictures today. The coins are great and the throw looks nice and comfy. +fuzziebear3
Finally, my Winter Mission arrived, all safe and sound, on the last day of the year! The sender and I may have been worried, but it was worth the wait! I had to rush yesterday when I opened it, but today, I was able to spend more time and appreciate things more. A stuffed full box of goodies from ElliPirelli Here they are all spread out ... I enjoyed opening all the wrapped packages, and looking at each item. Some things had writing in German that I tried to decipher. But ElliPirelli was also nice and sent translations too. I had some of the tea this morning (yummy). And I know what gluhwein is, I remember I had that when I visited Germany a few years ago. I am looking forward to the cocoa too. Oh, and I love those chocolates with marzipan - I had some of that already too. And cookies, and lip balm. And a neat geocaching scarf. Wonderful, warm, goodies all around. And then there were the great coins and pathtags too : I LOVE that kite, it is so beautiful!!! And the suncatcher Christmas ornament is so pretty, and I love suncatchers! The other might be a geocaching germany type of coin , and also a underwater cacher geocoin with a diver and an octopus. You obviously did your research well to find coins that I would absolutely love! Thank you so much ElliPirelli for the great mission, and also to Lorca for setting this up! ELTADA
I am so behind on everything these days but here is a pic from my winter mission. Team kizb sent this to me and it was lovely! Thank you! The background is a warm fleece blanket - it fits the theme of this mission perfectly. The 10 Years Anniversary coin was on my seeking list which I never expect but always appreciate... The other little goodies were very nice indeed - I haven't sent anything out travelling in awhile so the tag and handy team kizb personal with a hole might see some of the world. Perhaps I will launch them in the spring at our Mega in COG country. Thanks again! Quote Link to comment
