+larryc43230 Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Very cool, Filter by Type, Size, Difficulty, Terrain and Status (and combinations of these). +1 Major kudos to Garmin. A significant new feature, elegantly implemented. And they fixed the "Search all POIs" hang-up in record time, too. I'm impressed! --Larry Quote
+g-o-cashers Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 A good start. The interface could use some "set all", "clear all" type of features. It would be nice to be able to save filters for use later. But I'm not complaining Quote

Tahoe Skier5000 Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 I've got an Oregon 300 and the webupdater doesn't show the latest firmware as being available (3.82). It has 3.80 as the latest... You will need to go to product page and click on the "software" link on the right side. Quote

Scroll over a couple pages and youll see the colors get all funky. Anyone else confirm? Quote

+ryan3295 Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 A good start. The interface could use some "set all", "clear all" type of features. It would be nice to be able to save filters for use later. But I'm not complaining You can save filters for later use, go to: setup>geocaches>filter setup. The saved filters then show up under the geocache screen. Quote
+MaliBooBoo Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 My icons go all screwy when I filter out Traditionals and Multis. Puzzle caches show up as Megas and Earthcaches show up as Webcam caches. Anybody have any ideas? Quote

You can see this problem on any release if the GPX load didn't succeed during the last reboot (i.e. you had to pull batteries because of a hang). Quote

I normally update the caches on my Oregon 550 every couple of days anyways so it was a no brainer for me. Loaded a new file from GSAK and all my caches show up and all of the icons are fixed. Quote

+Snwjnky Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Does the filter results list transfer to the map screen somehow? Only showing what's wanted? Quote
+g-o-cashers Posted June 9, 2010 Author Posted June 9, 2010 It doesn't, you get a list of the caches which match the filter but the map seems to still show all of the caches. Quote
