Time for an overdue update. Jonathan received his package from Turlutortue on Monday! Thanks for all the turtles (:D) decorations and other fun stuff. Jonathan and his little brother loved unwrapping everything (Anika couldn't be bothered getting off the computer to join in). And thanks for the coins too!! I've been wanting a Quebec 2008 coin for quite some time now!

Dear Jonah from The Cache-A-Teers, you are amazing! What a find when we went to the mailbox today and found a lovely box all the way from Idaho!! Wow. We of course couldn't wait to rip in to the box and find out what was inside. When we did? Wowzee!! What a true treasure!

 

I've never seen nor expected so many coins! Weelow here in the pictures was happy to get some puzzles and the fun of presents wrapped was so cool! Each one of the coins individually wrapped is truly cool, way to have some patience on that one. We are saving the wrapped presents for Christmas Day, but I fear the treats won't make it much past tonight!

Yeah!!! I got my tree up, and my reward was to open this present. And I baked cookies too.

 

Thanks usyoopers, this was a great package, I smiled and loved every bit of it.

The box was sitting under the tree, and calling to me ...

The great coins - I loved the Christmas Compass Rose, and the Blue Lobster is one I have been seeking -- happy santa dance!!

just an update, we had a pipe freeze and burst, been dealing with that but finaly got everything done for Zariahs and my missions, they both are staying in usa, so should be fine on the time line, also neather one of us has recieved anything yet. will update as soon as we send them out or recieve something. :laughing:

Whoever got my name, you should have received two addresses one for my work, and one for home.. (I trust packages being received at work more than I do in my mailbox at home due to occasional stupidity near my house). Anyway, if you haven't sent mine yet, please go ahead and use the home address as my last day at work is the 18th (hooray christmas break) and I wouldn't get it until the 4th of January. For some reason package delivery to my school has been slow this semester...lots of things I've ordered for school and geocaching related things have been a good 2-3 days later than they should be.

Well I broke down last night and opened my mission, I had been good till now :D

What a great mission filled with some great goodies, the Cherry Honey is delic.....

Thinking that I might use the Huckleberry Jam this morning.

Dad loves the taffy, and I just love the Christmas Flamingo :D

I love the Hona Turtles, now I have the copper one, and I really like the "When Pigs Fly" traveler.

My diffuser is up and the scent of Pine fills the air, the windows have new clings, and I have the cutest mouse pad.

I'm glad to hear that the package arrived safely! I was already fearing that it would not arrive in time because I sent it in december... but I wanted to add something else: Before I put it in the parcel, I took the Birka coin with me when I visited the Düsseldorfer Weihnachtsmarkt, to take a picture of it:

Today I opened my parcel from Leiden as well...

 

WOW!

What a nice parcel! Already the little reindeer stickers that were everywhere between the gifts made me smile, and I love that mug, and sending a CD with nederlands christmas songs is real fun!!!!

 

Then I had a gift in my hand and thought that it felt a bit coin-like, but that can't be, that gift is too BIG to be a coin... and when I unwrapped it, it was an EARTH TURTLE!

 

WoHoooo!

 

And additionally I got a cache critter (Mooo! A frisian cow :D I come from eastern Frisia :D )

And a really nice Millieballon pathtag :D:D:D And a lot of other christmasy fun stuff!

I had a very unexpected trip to the hospital for awhile.

How very cool! My little one (Lilly Fairy) is now a big fan of Marzipan. I caught her sneaking into the bag the other morning. :) And man oh man! The Maoam Kracher thingies are YUMMY!

Summer is here, and Christmas not far away either.

Santa arrived today - mystery Santa (but I think I've worked out who)

Thank you S&H..... for 3 beautiful LillySue coins and the Cacheola coins.

A mini cache that is camo'd with a butterfly!

Lots of yummy treats, a Snowman ring (to cool it off here!)

and.....

a "Grandmas Little cacher" onsie suit for the new Grand daughter (who is now 5 days old!)

Camera has been working so hard lately....

I'll upload some photos soon.

 

WOnderful to see such great missions.
