+Kealia
No complaint - $8.95 is a reasonable price, although I don't know how much S/H is. Although it would be nice if people have coins that represent countries, made by people in those countries. Ok, so there is a complaint. I guess I'm: FTC! Woot! Quote Link to comment
+9Key
The design was shown to a few Mexico-based cachers and they gave the OK. I'm going to send them some of my LE's for their efforts. Quote Link to comment
+nielsenc
My only issue is, my 9key doesnt look like 9key. nielsenc Quote Link to comment

+WWC-World's Worst Cacher
One additional note on Mexico Cacher. Several months ago I posted in the Latin America forums looking for additional input on this project. Finally about 10 days ago I received one e-mail. As 9key mentioned, he did get appropriate input. Those of you who know me, know I always work with locals to create geographic coins. Quote Link to comment

+Cog&Gil
Maybe our monitor is not displaying color correctly. Shouldn't the blue that we see in the country outline be green? Quote Link to comment
+Team Weathergirl
Ordered mine when I got the notice from Hogwild. Can't wait to see it up close and personal!! Quote Link to comment

I think it was the reaction from the first coin ever issued that prompted SBD to work with locals on every other regional/country coin made since. Quote Link to comment

I think it was the reaction from the first coin ever issued that prompted SBD to work with locals on every other regional/country coin made since. The fact is he is in the SFBay Area. I know he offered to give it to the group. But the group was alredy doing their own non-trackable at the moment. Quote Link to comment
+Hula Bum
And what cachers are being worked with for the HVNP coin? You choose to make coins that you have no connection to, that's a personal choice, and yours to make. A lot of people don't like it, but there is nothing to stop you from doing it, just don't pretend like you're "working" with locals to do it. Posting in a latin forum and then not hearing back until after the coin is done (from 1 single cacher none the less) is hardly what I would call getting input. Call it what it is, that's all. +AtlantaGal
And what cachers are being worked with for the HVNP coin? To my knowledge, the National Park coins are a solo series and are not considered a local or regional coin. And as such, they don't fit with your prior arguement. Quote Link to comment
+Mama Cache
I am so confused. I thought this thread was about the Mexico coin? Last I checked google earth San Francisco and Hawaii were no where near! I have seen the sample of this coin as well. It is very nice and I love the rustic feel of the copper. You did a wonderful job my amigos Will and Steve! Can we just keep this on subject? Thanks Quote Link to comment
+MustangJoni
I have to say, the more I look at this coin, the more I like it. I got the copper, and it is just a gorgeous coin. Now, if I can just get my hands on a silver! Quote Link to comment
