+smilingsteeles
I prefer to cache in the cool early morning, when the chiggers are asleep. I think in the snow rates as my favorite time to cache. It is so beautiful and the quiet is amazing. Quiet time is a rarity in my life. Quote Link to comment
+ranger-rob
It depends where I'm planning to go. For the city, I prefer early morning, right around sunrise because the traffic is next to nil and there's very few people out. For the woods, after the dew has mostly dried. Winter is by far my favorite season regardless of where we're going. Quote Link to comment
rocketmann
I like to cache in the winter when it gets cold out. There are less muggles out and about and also any foilage that might be a problem in the summer is dead during the winter months. Quote Link to comment
BRTango
I try to avoid caching during hurricanes, tornados and/or earthquakes... I know, I know, I'm a wimp. Other than that... any time is good. Quote Link to comment
ParentsofSAM
Night time is good for urban hides. Anytime that is not too hot or buggy for all other caches. Quote Link to comment
+BBWolf+3Pigs
Anytime is a good time to go caching. Quote Link to comment
+sbell111
I like winter the best. If it is not winter, early morning is best because it get's way too hot in the middle of the day. Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
When you have time. If you have a favorite time of day then that's when I'd try to make the time you have available for caching. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
I tend to prefer winter and fall. Quote Link to comment

+boda
There is only one time that I find it difficult to cache. During open-heart surgery when my heart is stopped and it is difficult to carry around that perfusion machine and the aenesthesiologist. They gripe the whole time. Any other time is OK by me. I do prefer the mountains in the summer, and the deserts in the winter. Fall and spring are great for any type of caching in Southern California. Quote Link to comment

+Colorado Cacher
12am in the winter. It was pretty cool. Quote Link to comment
+joefrog
Well, right NOW of course! I just got back from a FTF in the dark and rain! Quote Link to comment
+scavok
During the summer I like going out at first light, a couple of hours before traffic gets bad and the temperature rises. During winter the best days are (here in Denver) those freakish mid-winter 75 degree days when it is perfectly warm, no snow on the ground, no leaves and no undergrowth. Quote Link to comment
+humanloofa
Well if you are talking about avoiding those darn muggles I recomend High noon in mid July in Phoenix AZ. Noone is outside. Quote Link to comment
