Anybody Else Seen The All Finds Pq

Just been onto the PQ page and there is a new option at the bottom MY FINDS

I wonder where it goes? It came through to my default email address with no option to change it. I've tried the "Set option" button, but it doesn't do anything obvious.

 

This should be useful.

 

(EDIT: It only contains my own logs... which probably makes sense!)

There is also the option to set cache attributes to your query page!!

Now open a new account post a find on all 10,000 uk caches and you get the UK database in one PQ

Look back through all the caches you've done and see if your ideas about which caches might not last long matches the ones that are now archived. There are half a dozen or so that I really expected to last no time at all, and indeed, they lasted no time at all.

It doesn't appear to allow you to do a preview? Meaning you have to download it to and look at it in GSAK to see what you have done

My GSAK DB already has the information, and because I regularly tidy it I know within a week when a Cache is archived. I see this as a waste of one PQ.

it doesn't actually count as a PQ... I received my usual 5 today, and then this one on top of that (woo hoo, 6 PQs per day!!) IMHO, it is free information, so why not!

i think its a great idea i've just being looking back at old caches i've found that are now archived brings back a few memories

But you have always been able to look back over all your finds in your account page by clicking on "show all logs for caches". Give you all logs for each cache.

 

Only nice thing was to put all finds on memory map to see where I have been.

As purple_pineapple had pointed out that the new Found PQ was extra to the 20, I could only agree that this was in effect a free-bee. So I set the Found PQ to run this afternoon.

 

When I got in from work I downloaded the Found PQ's and imported it into GSAK, now something odd happened, where as I had only found 114 to date after the New PQ was downloaded and imported it said 115 found. Odd I thought so I created a new Database and imported the file into that, again 115 caches found

 

I looked at my states page and I only have 114 finds, now that has confused, Is this a problem with the PQ file? Or is there some error in GSAK? I did a count on GSAK on the new database I had created and that comes to 114

 

I guess I will reach 200 sooner than I think

 

Anyone else witness this?

Mine says I found one more than I really have too! I recall having a log on a locationless deleted, but that isn't included in this PQ, so I'm looking into it!

Do you by any chance have multiple find logs on any caches? I was puzzled by my finds pq in GSAK - in the database I created to check my find count it showed 231 caches but 233 finds. Then I realised that I have three (legitimate) found logs on the now archived Victoria's Mailbox. To do a quick check just scroll down and watch the log icons column.

Thanks for the pointer Bill. I have two green squares on "Steam Power" ... a virtual by The Wombles. I remember logging the find and then deleting it after it was explained to me that I had cocked up, hehe. I have since found the cache properly, but the original log which I deleted is showing up in this "Found" PQ. Only one find shows on the cache page though.

I have just noticed that we can now create up to 40 queries. Under the new 'All finds' section it says:

 

You can create up to 40 queries. However, a maximum of 5 queries can be run each day.

 

So five of them cannot be made regular - but that's much better than only 20.
