The back of the shirt says "I slept with the beasts." It was very cool experience! ;)
I do that every night. Does that mean I get a shirt too?

I was thinking the same thing and then I realized that the t-shirt actually read "beasts"...:laughing::D

I, of course, would never consider sweet Rooster as a beast, I was referring to these two beasties. They are old now and require assistance getting up, but still enjoy snoozing on a bed. :D

Say, here's an idea, if you appear in a photo of a find do you get to score it too?

If so then I'm taking orders for Photoshop finds.

Miragee did all that hiking in sandals? Oh man, I am so wimpy.

Could only do it in Chaco sandals . . . :o

After a hike, I sure need a pedicure.

As an aside, now that that photo of me and TrailGators is getting the "treatment" by Harmon, I sure wish I had remembered to smile after I raced over from the camera to sit down and get into the frame . . . :D

As long as I'm getting the business, I forgot to mention is that I have a bruise on my thigh that is the size of a Palm Pilot. After logging our last cache, Miragee and I were truckin' down the 4x4 road to make up some time. On the way down, I stepped on this large slickrock with my left foot that was angled down and to the right. The rock was covered in sand and as soon as I stepped on it, my left foot slid to the right and I went down like I was tackled from behind. Because I kept my right hand up in the air to protect my GPS, it was hard to break my fall. So I landed on my left thigh and my left hand. Then my right hand came down slamming my GPS into the ground. But my GPS lived! However, my Palm was on my left thigh pocket took the brunt of the fall. After I got up I tried to power it up and it wouldn't power up. I was pretty bummed. The good news is that I've been playing around with it and I got it to work again! Anyhow, the lesson learned is not to leave my hiking stick in the truck anymore. Edited by TrailGators

do you feel about an "enhancement" to that sandal shot?

Of course, if you bunch your socks, you'll have no place to put your sgian dubh...

This is one of San Diego's most prolific cachers. She was running late on a trip to Phil's Memorial Cache, and here is why. Ahhh, a good role in the mud! This is one young lady who obviously knows that there is more to life than caching.

It seems to be a favorite postion for Ginger! huh? I have one just like it in snow also...

Out running an errand today and thought I'd pick up a local cache or two while I was out. I was walking down the trail in my normal attire when I was approached by someone who flashed a badge at me. I was able to get a photo of it.

Being a good citizen of the geocaching community, I was polite and respectful toward authority and got off with only a warning this time. It probably helped a lot when I told him about Harmon's work increasing public awareness of sock crimes.

That's one our finest sock-police officers you encountered, Sgt. Argyle.

Sgt. Argyle came on the force last year and, since, we've seen a 30%

decrease in highwater socks along local trails. Sgt. Argyle coined the

term that's become the sock-police motto "Bunched or Busted."

Sergeant Argyle! That was indeed his name! I was a bit nervous at first when he introduced himself. After assuring him that I wasn't a sock scofflaw, he seemed to relax and we talked a bit. He did mention that he had a photo of a geocacher named "fisnjack" on the wall at the station -- I said I've never met the fellow personally but would keep an eye out for him. After swearing that I would never even consider committing the capital sock crime of thigh-high toe-socks, he let me go on my way. Nice fellow and obviously committed to upholding sartorial standards. He gave me this booklet as part of his community outreach program.
