+Stuey
According to his profile, Simply Paul has now set 100 caches. Blimey!!! Good luck with maintenance mate.... not sure how you'll find time to find other caches now. I've found a few of yours when I've been in the area on holidays and weekends away, and next time I suppose I could have a "Simply Paul" day and just do some of your caches. Thanks for setting 'em! +Bekandian
Well done Paul, you're a credit to the community Blimey your COTM scores are going to be off the charts this month! 660 points on places alone, and it's only the 10th! Edited May 10, 2005 by Bekandian Quote Link to comment
+The Wombles
Not just any old 100 caches but 100 caches which get good feedback too - well done. Quote Link to comment
Deego
Nice going mate :D I fancy a Simply Paul day caching. Maybe something to look at for the summer months as its over 85 miles away ATCF Edited May 10, 2005 by Deego Quote Link to comment
+JollyJax
Not just 100 caches but already this month Simply Paul has already set the record number of caches set in one month .... guess my 20 last month wasnt a record for very long .... WELL DONE PAUL Quote Link to comment
+milvus-milvus
Well done Paul - I could see this one coming up, but you were only at 97 when I checked earlier tonight... Not only have you beaten the Wombles to the magic 100, but I suspect you've also broken JollyJax's short-held record of caches placed in a month - and it's still only the 10th... Lot's of FTF opportunities out there - but it won't be us. Edited to say: "Must read the other posts first..." Edited May 10, 2005 by milvus-milvus Quote Link to comment
+John & Hazel
Well Done Paul. As soon as Hazel is back to full mobility, we will be having a few SP days Quote Link to comment
+Simply Paul
And I hope they're all Thrilla and no Filla. By which I mean I hope it's not a case of quantity over quality. I've certainly enjoyed placing some over the last few days and hope people enjoy doing them (individually or as a chain) just as much. With the countryside I've had to work with, I couldn't go far wrong, but I have tried to get the most from each location, and give each its own 'flavour'. I must say, I've been places I've never visited before in the last week and have fallen in love with this area afresh. The views! The landscapes! The terrain... I could go on. The 100 live caches is only a temporary situation. I plan to go through some deadwood in the next few months and remove some of my weaker, older caches. I think 100 is the upper limit of what I can maintain and would like some time to find caches rather than just buzz from one of mine to another cleaning them up, drying them out and restocking them! The new batch all have double length, double-sided log sheets and will hopefully manage themselves for a while. The most caches set in a month record is a bit of a surprise as I'd not even thought of it. I'm sure it'll not stand for long. I'm working on the principle that I'll get out of caching what I put in, so thanks for the kind words folks. SP Quote Link to comment
Lactodorum
Well done Paul for keeping Eckington and me busy these past few months Having done some recent "quality checks" on your new ones I can testify that the DQ (Deviousness Quotient) is up to your usual standards. Quote Link to comment
NickPick
Wow, 100 caches set. You've actually overtaken Dan and Pid for placed caches now! Well done Paul, and thanks for setting such good caches in my caching area. Edited May 11, 2005 by NickPick Quote Link to comment
+The HERB5
I plan to go through some deadwood in the next few months and remove some of my weaker, older caches No, no not yet, I haven't done them all yet..... Seriously though, couldn't they be adopted. Quote Link to comment
Nediam
Congratulations on a new milestone Haven't done any of yours yet as you're a bit far south, but I hope to do some of them in the summer. They look "interesting" to say the least! Quote Link to comment
+Simply Paul
I had thought about the adoption route, but I'd rather let someone reuse the area for their own cache. There are lots of new folks wanting to set, and this way I get some new caches on my doorstep SP Quote Link to comment
