  1. Hi For the record I am using a 16GB card in both an Oregon 550 and a Dakota 20 Ken
  2. Please can we return to the ability to search on the whole of the UK not just the region. This new facility is no use if you live at the boundary of 3 or more regions.
  3. Blacks in Milton Keynes reckon they won't have them till the 9th
  4. We would agree with you Tony. Anne feels particularly strongly, although she is retired now, she was a botanist and for a spell a park ranger. We also have seen caches where the micro environment has been damaged and have walked away from some of them and have PM'ed the owner in a few cases. What is an obvious hide to the owner often is quite ambiguous to the finder.
  5. It looks as if I have solved the crashes I was experiencing with MemoryMap. I have rebuilt Memory Map twice, the second time by deleting everything except the qct directory. Coincidentally I also rebuilt Firefox and its addons. Fingers crossed everything seems OK now. Thanks for all the comments. It seems that I am not yet near any waypoint maximum if one exists. Thanks Ken
  6. Hi Does anyone know if there is a limit on the number of caches which can be loaded into MemoryMap GB V5.1. I have started to get intermittent crashes which cause a reboot and the only apparent commonality seems to be MemoryMap. I have about 12k caches loaded. I am aware that there were limits on the number of waypoints which could be loaded into mapping software in the past. Has anyone got any thoughts Ken
  7. I checked the final location back in November to see if I could bag the Geocoin and I can confirm that the final box has gone. It was not an easy place for muggles to find by accident but it has disappeared I didn't log a comment as Dan had already disabled the cache. Ken
  8. I have no problems at all with Baz circulating the PDF file again. The original is at www.zensunni.org/cache/Deciphering.pdf If other people want some help with decodes I am always at the end of an e-mail and for information I am in MK as well Regards Ken

  11. Hi Guys We will be in Singapore for a week in January. We were wondering if there is a digital map of the island that we can use in OziExplorer. We are aware of the Garmin maps at malsingmaps but I have not found a decent map to use with Oziexplorer Zensunni (Anne & Ken ) and Scytale ( Matt )
  12. Whilst caching in Western Ausralia in December 2004 we saw a large Dugite - a species of venomous brown snake. He was sunbathing within 1 metre of the cache - Paddington's Quokka magazine - which is on the offshore Rottnest Island. He left when we arrived. Fortunately the cache was exposed so we didn't have to prod arround Earlier this year we passed an Adder, again sunbathing, on the way to a cache. Anne & Ken
