+LindaLu
There's a new article in the Adventure section of today's Tacoma News Tribune. Unfortunately, I can't find an online version to share with you, but the article is pretty well written. Local cachers mentioned in the article include El Pepino, GEMs, Jagsound, Jeremy (of course), and a couple of cachers mentioned by their real names only. I got started in caching almost 4 years ago now due to an article in the TNT. We've come a long way, baby! Quote Link to comment

+Wander Lost
I love this line. And, instead of treasure chests, your bounty is a container of borderline useless items such as Happy Meal toys and Canadian coins. *emphasis added by me* Quote Link to comment
+Wander Lost
I want to know who's going to be first to find the News Tribune Cache. Quote Link to comment
MarcusArelius
I want to know who's going to be first to find the News Tribune Cache. Is it listed on gc.com? I couldn't even find the listing Quote Link to comment
+Wander Lost
It's not listed, and a little birdie told me it hasn't been submitted either. Quote Link to comment
MarcusArelius
Hmmm, maybe he's just telling his editor he needs to expense all this cache stuff but is really just pocketing it. Quote Link to comment
+willcall
Has anyone found the hint in the online articles in today's "Adventure" section? I skimmed them, then did some searches for likely numbers, but found nothing. They probably put the clue in between pieces in the print edition of the paper. Quote Link to comment
+pdxmarathonman
I wouldn't expect it to be listed on gc.com. You need to go buy their paper TODAY in order to have the information to find it. Definitely a commercial cache Quote Link to comment
+Defender1
Is it out of forum to say there was also a quick mention of geocaching in this months backpacker magazine? I dont have it anymore but it was in the question and answere section. The question was what is the deal with geocaching and the answere could have been a little nicer I thought. +GeoDiver/GeoGrammy
Has anyone found the hint in the online articles in today's "Adventure" section? The coordinates for the cache are NOT in the "Online Version" of the article. You will have to get ahold of a copy of the paper. And BTW...LindaLu was FTF. Quote Link to comment

+LindaLu
The author of the article told me that the cache will be listed on gc.com within the next few days. Quote Link to comment
+GEM's
The way I understand it Jagsound (Jon Graciano) is friends from church with the brother of the reporter & an old friend of mine as well. Jon referred the reporter to me. I did an on over-the-phone interview. I referred him to Rudy Fyles (Mountain Mule) for pics at Pt. Defiance Park...he is very photogenic and they turned out great! Especially the one on the front page! Cross Roads Coffee Shop is the coffee shop mentioned in the article. Quote Link to comment
+Kfam
Hey! That cache is just a couple blocks away from me. I'll try to get in the drawing tomorrow morning! Quote Link to comment
