Mopar
I'm thankful that I have a wonderful caching partner. I'm thankful that I've have had a chance to cache in some great places the last year. I'm thankful for the friends I had, and the new ones I've made. And most important......... I'm thankful none of you are coming to my house for dinner tomorrow! Quote Link to comment

Hydnckr
I'm thankful that I've had a succesful year of caching with no injuries or mishaps and that I've spent some quality time with my 4 year old son on our caching adventures. I'm thankful that my wife has even gone out on a few caching hunts with me.....maybe a trend ? But I'm happily thankful that even tho I'd cached clean my immediate surroundings a year ago, there's a new one that popped up today, on a trail, in park, only a couple miles from my house Perfect for that Thanksgiving Day Cache Hunt. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE ! Quote Link to comment
carleenp
Happy Thanksgiving! Since we are listing caching thanks, here are mine: I am thankful for: The great new experiences and places that caching has taken me to. Also, the wonderful friends I have made through caching. I also am thankful that I can share this game with my parents who are wonderful and who I enjoy caching and more with. I am further thankful that I am able to share the joy of caching with a wonderful caching guy who I care about dearly. I also am thankful that caching provides much more than finding boxes in the woods. Through these forums, I enjoy discussing caching and meeting people. Sometimes we all agree, sometimes things get heated. Either way, I am thankful for it. So Happy Thanksgiving whether your country is involved in this holiday or not. My thanks are the same for those who are outside the US since I know I have met great people and made cherished friends in other countries as well. Quote Link to comment
fly46
<-- hates thanksgiving. I am, however, thankful that I found caching. It is a wonderful way to meet people and a darn good excuse to get my butt off the couch and out to local areas I never ever would have found otherwise. Quote Link to comment
PC Painter
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Time to start a new tradition, for me. Going to spend the early part of the day, geocaching! I am thankful that there's something that gives us a good hike now and then, and my Dad, my Brother, and I all enjoy doing it! Edited November 25, 2004 by PC Painter Quote Link to comment

wimseyguy
TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING, BUT I JUST COULDN'T SLEEP I TRIED COUNTING BACKWARDS, I TRIED COUNTING SHEEP. THE LEFTOVERS BECKONED - THE DARK MEAT AND WHITE BUT I FOUGHT THE TEMPTATION WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT TOSSING AND TURNING WITH ANTICIPATION THE THOUGHT OF A SNACK BECAME INFATUATION. SO, I RACED TO THE KITCHEN, FLUNG OPEN THE DOOR AND GAZED AT THE FRIDGE, FULL OF GOODIES GALORE. I GOBBLED UP TURKEY AND BUTTERED POTATOES, PICKLES AND CARROTS, BEANS AND TOMATOES. I FELT MYSELF SWELLING SO PLUMP AND SO ROUND, 'TIL ALL OF A SUDDEN, I ROSE OFF THE GROUND. I CRASHED THROUGH THE CEILING, FLOATING INTO THE SKY WITH A MOUTHFUL OF PUDDING AND A HANDFUL OF PIE. BUT, I MANAGED TO YELL AS I SOARED PAST THE TREES.... HAPPY EATING TO ALL PASS THE CRANBERRIES, PLEASE. MAY YOUR STUFFING BE TASTY, MAY YOUR TURKEY BE PLUMP. MAY YOUR POTATOES 'N GRAVY HAVE NARY A LUMP, MAY YOUR YAMS BE DELICIOUS MAY YOUR PIES TAKE THE PRIZE, MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING DINNER STAY OFF OF YOUR THIGHS. HAVE A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING!
