inventorjg Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 I was thinking about placing a cache involving a treasure map, or little symbols, instead of numbers, etc. The map could be printed out from online. What other unique caches have you all seen, and what do you think about the aforementoned ideas? Quote
WH Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Not to toot my own horn, but Ive had good feedback on this cache. Quote
+Gizmo & Brazin Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 I think your idea sounds like a lot of fun. I would love to try and find a cache using a 'treasure' map. As long as the symbols are easy to interpret, I haven't attempted any puzzle caches yet, as I just don't have a clue where to start. Quote
+avroair Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 I have a series of Mission Impossible Secret Agent Missions, located thru a series of municipal parks, they are formulated to help people use their GPS functions such as triangulation, UTM, decimal coordinates, projections etc. (they are easier than they sound!). Log MUST be written as if you are a secret agent. Mission 1: The Secret Service: Find a dropoff container left by another agent. Mission 2: BelaRussia: The agent goes missing. Mission 3: Venetone Manifesto: Eliminate the double agent. Mission 4: McMillan Doctrine Find the scientist and his formula. Mission 5: The Fight for Picasso's Mind Deactivate the satellite jamming beacon. Mission 6: The Promethian League Capture the Evil Mastermind and save the world. Quote
+nfa Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Hi, I'm planning on placing a "Blue's Clues" multi, that follows the search and think pattern of the childrens' show...I would like to make it accessible to kids and adults alike. nfa Quote

bogleman Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Unique - something that you have never seen before, be it a cache or container - something that makes you say a little prayer. Cache page, cache and or container - or something that makes you say that was awsome. Quote

+tands Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 This cache by Team Hikerman, The End, involving a map is one of our very favorite caches of all we have found. - T of TandS Quote
+Mach 5 Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Well, this cache was one of the most challenging as far as the pre-cache puzzle is concerned, it was not easy to find either: GCM4NK Quote
