+Team Paradise
A review of the upcoming 2004 version is here. Seems to include a new pan and rotate '3D' map view ! If you can see the 'light at the end of the tunnel', it's usually a train coming ! Quote Link to comment

I know that when the 2003 series came out someone got a very good deal by dealing direct with MM. I think he knows someone who works there. It might be better if we could strike some sort of deal rather than all purchasing indivudually. The Cuthberts
Never stopped using it since buying it. The only snag was living on the border of Regions 1 and 2. This looks very good and I would be more than interested in groups discounts. Having read the review again, it looks like there is no 'upgrade' path and the maps and photos that I have already bought will not work with this version of the software Would make a nice FTF prize though ! +Chris n Maria
We use it - hence all the support for it in Waypoint Workbench If only life had an undo button.... London & UK Geocaching Resources: http://www.sheps.clara.net Quote Link to comment
+Pharisee
I use it too. John And should you ask, am I at ease there? I'd answer "Yes. Oh yes indeed". For my heart it dwells in lonely places, where springs leap down, where ravens feed. Quote Link to comment

+WalkDMC!
...and us! Maybe we should try and negotiate special rates for geocachers! We’re missing using it! I’m (Dean) working hard again at the moment – something like 7 days a week – 10 hours + a day, so not going to get out Caching for another couple of weeks! Eagles may fly high, but weasels don’t get sucked into jet engines… Quote Link to comment
+WalkDMC!
Ahhh! Home at last! 34 days of working! Well, If I've done my job right, none of you will ever get to hear about it! Right, where's the GPS - I've got to get away from Keyboards and Screens! Quote Link to comment
Xixau & Shenzi
I use MM too, but have recently bought an alternative called FUGAWI UK, which I have to say works superbly too. The advantage that I have found to this is that you can 'draw' tracks on the PC then upload them to the GPS, something which I have never worked out how to do with MM. I know that with MM you can draw routes, but no of waypoints is limited in most GPS's where tracks give better accuracy, which I find an essential requirement. Also FUGAWI covers the entire UK OS 1:50,000 in 4 discs, and Wilts is not on the border as Andy has pointed out above. Jerry. Edited November 27, 2003 by Xixau & Shenzi Quote Link to comment

The latest version does exactly that. They do seem to be having some supply problems though. I've waited over a week now and they still haven't shipped my maps. Quote Link to comment

+Learned Gerbil
How much memory would Fugawi require to put a 5 mile by 5 mile map on a Palm? I can't find this anywhere - a 5Mb figure is quoted by Fugawi but they do not say what size map that is, or how big their application is. Quote Link to comment
