PartyChief
Does anyone know what became of the Tim Horton's Location Project? Paddle Slowly : The ride is over soon enough. Quote Link to comment
+servman
It's still around... just expanded to include other waypoint now. You can find it here Servman Ian Mobile Cache Command Quote Link to comment

Octo23
Tim Horton's location project? Talk about a never ending task. In small town Atlantic Canada those things are more prolific than Baby Gaps in New York City. Quote Link to comment

gm100guy
I sent a email with this thread highlighted to mrcpu who started the project and asked him to let us know what happened or if this is still running. Quote Link to comment
jonavin
I'm interested to know what happen to this project too. I did as much searching as I could but all I got was broken links... even from google. Quote Link to comment
+mrcpu
As the "owner" of the project, I've been pretty lax recently!!! I apologize for not doing much with it... that dare "life" of mine keeps getting in the way! I will dig up my most recent GPX file and post it for everyone to grab. Then we can chat about the best way to continue the project! Cheers, Quote Link to comment
jonavin
Any updates? BTW, I just found out that MetroGuide Canada v4 does have a lot of Tim Hortons listed. You have to look under Specialty Food Products. I'm not sure how complete it is sicne I don't actually own a copy of MGC4. Quote Link to comment
+Amazon Annie
Yup, my GPS (60CS) now has the Hortons listed on it... (and other Donut establishments of renown and some I've never heard of!). I'm liking this Garmin software. It's dated though... I looked for the nearest gas station while in London and it was gone! Quote Link to comment
+bluenoser613
It's been a while since this thread was active. Does anyone have a current Tim Hortons file? Regards, Bluenoser613 Quote Link to comment
+Hard Oiler
No, but here are the latest numbers of locations (and there are more caches now in Ontario than there are Tim Hortons ): Ontario: 1,364 Quebec: 282 British Columbia: 194 Alberta: 186 Nova Scotia: 180 New Brunswick: 122 Newfoundland & Labrador: 55 Manitoba: 48 Saskatchewan: 31 Prince Edward Island: 17 Yukon: 2 Northwest Territories: 1 Total Canada 2,482 Total US 260 Total US & Canada 2,742 (May 4th 2005) Quote Link to comment
+DNStephens
Here is a good start to a new list... just chose a state or province and leave the other boxes blank... it returns a list of everything in the province http://www.timhortons.com/en/locator.html Quote Link to comment
+Binrat
The list of Timmie's is great, but here's a good one for you. Of that list how many are located on Canadian Military bases. I know for a fact the list will be high. Binrat Quote Link to comment
+northernpenguin
Just watch this little fella. It's going to all the Timmy's locations it can get to. Quote Link to comment
BootPrint
I have a collection of 300+ Tim Hortons sites from a drive across Canada (Ontario to BC). S&T map Currently the listing is in an Excel spreadsheet but I can change that. If anyone is interested let me know an I'll make the data available. Quote Link to comment
+Keith Watson
I can create database and web front end for the project. The GPX file I have is from Nov 2004, and only shows Ontario. If people can send me what ever they have, i can load it into a database for all to use. Quote Link to comment
