Ultimately he's the one to decide whether to keep it going or end the North American APE Experience. In my personal opinion, if he doesn't want to maintain it he should turn it over to someone else who does. It's not about the tin can, it's about the location and experience - if it were not then all geocaching is is a GPSr aided bean counting game. I don't think this is a fair characterization. It's a Groundspeak decision, and although he is a Groundspeak employee, Moun10bike the geocacher and cache owner has been nothing if not tireless in his efforts to maintain this cache.
