+fatkidsOTWunite
Our Georgia event was held in Savannah in conjunction with "Going Coastal...arrggh" which became the first Georgia Mega event the day after our event (yay!). I had multiple folks with bags of coins in the crowd and BAM! they were gone. We sold out 100+ coins in about 4 minutes flat. Wow! Cachers were happy to see AtlantaGal show up with her coins the next day. I have a couple of attendees who REALLY want one so if anyone has one they're willing to sell back to me, or trade for something else, please contact me. Congrats to all of the successful events! can't wait for 12-12-12 but what the heck are we gonna do in 2013?? Janet EDIT: If someone wants to TRADE a Going Coastal coin for a Georgia 11/11/11 coin, I can do that too! Edited November 15, 2011 by fatkidsOTWunite Quote Link to comment

I also would like a Souvenir for attendees at the Multi Events, if possible! What do you think about it? BTW, must a Host to do the Attended in his own event? +funkymunkyzone
We had an amazing event in Auckland, New Zealand. Despite being in the evening after a work day, meaning out of towners and families would struggle to attend, we had a small increase in numbers from our 10-10-10 event last year - up from 110 individuals to about 120. We had a variety of games and activities organised and gave away over $2000 worth of prizes. It was a very stressful evening for us in order to make it go smoothly, and everyone seemed to have a great time, which to us was the reward for many weeks of late nights and planning stress. After the event, we had a CITO to clean up, then it was home for about 2 hours before we needed to head off to the airport. That next evening, once again the 11th of November, in Apia, we had a very low key event for Apia, Samoa. Surprisingly, we even had another attendee there, a local who signed up in order to come along and buy some coins off us for their uncle and friends in Germany, who had intended on being there in person but couldn't. Anyway, I don't think I mentioned this before, but I'll describe the theme behind the Auckland (and Apia) coin colour scheme. - Auckland is dominated by water with essentially 3 harbours plus the beautiful Hauraki Gulf, and is often called the City of Sails for all the sailboats seen on the harbour and the gulf, particularly in summer. Flying into Auckland on a Sunny day, the blues in the water are stunning. - The city is also a very green one. The city with it's many tree-lined streets, is dotted with parks and grass-covered hills and volcanic cones. The green also represents the many islands in the Hauraki gulf. - The red is for the city's volcanic past - over tens of thousands of years there has been volcanic activity with over 60 volcanic craters and cones across the wider Auckland area. - Finally the black ring around the outside and the base silver of the coin for New Zealand's sporting colours and heritage - the mighty Rugby World Cup winning All Blacks and the silver fern. We have some "Auckland, New Zealand" coins left over from the event, and we will endeavour to contact those who have expressed interest on this forum - otherwise please just email us through or GC.com profile. They will be $15NZ each plus shipping, which is yet to be determined. So long as we can safely pack them less than 10mm thick, we should be able to post them for about $3NZ each coin (international). If someone out there would be so kind as to tell us how much these coins weigh then we should be able to confirm the postage cost. Cheers, Chris & Vera Edited November 17, 2011 by funkymunkyzone Quote Link to comment

+Mar-elendili
<snip>.If someone out there would be so kind as to tell us how much these coins weigh then we should be able to confirm the postage cost. I have tested all my coins (also for postage reasons!) and they range between 41.6 grams and 42.8 grams. All areas are filled with enamel, maybe the coins with empty zones are a tad bit lighter.
