My first ever question!

How long was the HUNDRED YEARS' WAR?

Not 100 years obviously... noone can fight that long.

The whole thing occured over 116 years though the 14th and 15th centuries,

A bit of info here (I've since looked it up).

The park had a lot of stinging nettles and when the "courting couples" went there to coo, they got stung and became itchy - hence ichycoo

If you wanted to see Tethys (it has the same name as a Greek titan) where would you look? and what is it?

I'm going for the night sky? Is it a moon of a planet?

Posted (edited)

I'd look in the night sky (towards Saturn I think)...It's a moon.

The Godfather ?

Nope. I should have pointed out that it is a US X rather than a UK X - sorry. The Godfather was an R.

Midnight Cowboy  My dad told me the answer, it had Dustin Hoffman in it...

DING!

Well done, it was released in 1969 when X in the US meant 17 and above. The subsequent association with porn meant that it was regraded to R in 1971 with no cuts or changes.

I'll hand the baton back to CD!

The F1 fanatic currently sharing the sofa with me says it is Mattias!

That will be a DING!!

Who does he think is going to win this season?

Kaz says Alonso is in with a good chance!

Now to the next question:

Last year I cached in a place which took us very close to The Book of Kells ... where is it currently held?

The dong goes to the person who names the building and the place.

Sorry that I've taken so long to answer but it's a big DING to Crazy Druid.

Poor old Catherine was so distraught that she had to be held down in order that the exeution could take place. Not one of the more efficient jobs.

Careful with that axe Eugene!!!!!!

It was Anne Boleyn's cousin...Catherin Howard...they were both exicuted in the tower of London for Treason...and both married to King Henry VIII.

Legally, they were both never married, both these marriages were annulled rather then divorced.
