However, it "seems" to have been created by users of firefox/mac/othernonconforming/not-explorer users. Just my 02. regards, Paul The site just provides and easy route of access to irc , the java in use was developed by A.N.Other and just put onto the webpage. I can however say that it works on pretty much any OS , and browser combination. There are numerous IRC clients if you don't want the 'in browser' experience, one of the common problems is opening something in the browser window that is currently running the chat client. There are some very nice peolple in there though. It's the same as any party you go to, some will speak and some won't, and not everyone logs out of the room when they are not near the pc. Persever, i'm sure the tea trolley will be around soon. Good luck Terry Link to comment
+Alice Band
I used to be in there a lot too but university research work has knocked things on the head for me as I now spend more time procrastinating about the early Iron Age than picking up my GPS I miss being able to chat to human beings - more fun than long term dead things lurking on laboratory shelves Lucky for me that I study in a city crammed with caches Edited to add: Have brought some Stollen cake with me and some Gluhwein to share around the room. Will there be room on Mrs. B's trolley? Edited December 30, 2007 by Alice Band Link to comment
