+Wolverine Warriors
Alright, assuming my math is correct. I come up with: 236 Indiana Spirit Quests 4 Indian Spirit Quests 22 Ohio Spirit Quests 14 Michigan Spirit Quests (Only 2 more to find WAY up north this summer) 1 Ontario Spirit Quest own 7 Michigan Spirit Quests For a Grand Total of 277 found and 7 owned with SQs in 3 states and 1 providence......Our goal has become all of the MSQs, all the OSQs and at least a majority of the ISQs, I think having all those has become unattanable. +2qwerqE
How bizarre. There aren't any events this weekend in Indiana, on a sweet spring weekend. No holidays. No major sporting events. So, if not Geocaching in Indiana, where is everyone going to be? OK< I'm sure there will be plenty of Geocaching in Indiana this wekeend. Just not at an event. Are we getting tired of one another? Spending too much time snarfing poptarts and hotdogs and pizza in the name of Geocaching in Indiana? Just seemed odd to me. So, how long's it been since a weekend passed without an event in Indiana? That's enough inane questions for now. Discuss amongst one another. and while you are at it, here's an eagle from Eagle Creek Park, shot 2 days ago. Quote Link to comment
+Team Shydog
OK< I'm sure there will be plenty of Geocaching in Indiana this weekend. Just not at an event. I plan on caching over at Salomonie on Saturday, so if someone wants to bring the doughnuts we can call it a non-event event. Maybe it can be a MEGA non-event event if enough people show up. Interesting, I have been considering geocaching in that part of the state on Sunday with another destination planned for Saturday. However, there's no reason that I couldn't switch them around. If others want a non-event event in that area, I might just show up. (That is if my hideous countenance is not an impediment to others. ) Quote Link to comment

We've done most of the caches there, but we can always throw a few film cans up in the trees and see what sticks... But, rest assured, it will be muddy... Just name the time and place, we'll bring something to munch on... Quote Link to comment

There are a couple of newer caches in that area as well as a couple of water falls I wanted to get some pictures of. I had planned to stay on the North end of the Reservoir. Just look at the 3-29-08 bookmark list I have on the above cache. I really don't plan on getting all the caches I have on the bookmark list, just being prepared. And I agree with Leaddog, mud will be the word of the day. Anyone else is welcome to come along as well. Email if you have questions. See you Saturday. Chris-Team Shydog Ps. I want to place a cache at Patrick's Waterfalls #2: Twin Waterfalls (archived)--It's the third best waterfalls in the area--.4 miles from the waterfall cache at the CCC shelter, if it's on the itinerary) --and for lunch Lagro Cafe is always an option--Breaded Temderloins as big around as volleyballs (when they have them, which is mostly never) and homemade rhubarb pie...) Be sure to bring extra socks and tennis shoes to wear on your ride home. PS. Buddaman can't make it due to the mud and the fact that nobody manufactures boots big enuff for his feet... Earthdog Patrick
Shydog, I like the way your brain works. I'll come. I haven't done Salamonie area in quite awhile. Lots for me up there, I'm sure. Where and when? and what cache do I use for my pocket query starting point? Ok, How about meeting at the parking lot near this cache, 2006 Spring Picnic Cache say around 9:30ish? There are a couple of newer caches in that area as well as a couple of water falls I wanted to get some pictures of. I had planned to stay on the North end of the Reservoir. Just look at the 3-29-08 bookmark list I have on the above cache. I really don't plan on getting all the caches I have on the bookmark list, just being prepared. And I agree with Leaddog, mud will be the word of the day. Anyone else is welcome to come along as well. Email if you have questions. See you Saturday. Chris-Team Shydog Ps. Pack a lunch or some snacks and we will find a place to rest between caches. +2qwerqE
Regretfully, I have to back out. My sister, who I haven't seen since last October (which is a really long time between us, becasue of her insane new job, and I miss her much) called to invite me to meet her and her daughter in the middle. She's from St Louis, and we sometimes meet in IL to play for the day. So we will meet tomorrow morning at Starved Rock State Park. I'm sorry to miss the fun tomorrow. Have a great time and remember: if you are not wet and muddy up to your pits, then you didn't do it right. Quote Link to comment
+Team Shydog
OK Leaddog, It looks like it is you, me and Patrick tomorrow. The Twin Waterfalls is one of the places I wanted to visit so placing a cache is fine by me. That is one of my favorite places in that area. I will meet you at the CCC shelter parking lot around 9:30 am, give or take a few minutes. It looks like it will be a great day to GEOCACHE IN INDIANA. Sorry you can't make it 2Q, drop me a line if you want to plan a trip up there some other time. Chris Of course anyone else that wants to join us is more then welcome. If you have never seen the Worlds' number 10 cache hider at work, you are truly missing out in life!! Edited March 28, 2008 by Team Shydog Quote Link to comment

+S Keillan
I have a PQ set to run for the area tomorrow, so if I can get up early enough I'm planning on coming. (I say if as I needed to take off from work today due to exhaustion.) Quote Link to comment
