Adding something to a cache title.
INDIANA SPIRIT QUEST replied to BlueMoth's topic in General geocaching topics
Looks like you've decided to add RIP to the end of the name, that seems like a good choice to us. Keep up the good work!!! -

GEOCACHING IN PARADISE
INDIANA SPIRIT QUEST replied to Trader Rick & Rosie's topic in South and Southeast
There is a new cache just published in the fledgling FSQ series: AMERICAN DOUGHBOY -
If you will go to Ohio Spirit Quest #1, you will find some bookmark lists that may be of help. OSQ#1

RWalker 46940 has continued his support of the Quest by providing maintenance for ISQ #347. Thanks to him and all of you who care enough to go out of your way to repair/replace these historic caches!!! We grade you out as CHAMPIONS!!
-
THANKS , KELLEY!!! #694,695,696,697,698 --Donsdi. getting so close to #700...
-
ISQ #1 is in need of replacement if anybody is in the area: GCHRFJ ISQ 1
-
That's out of my range. If it's in yours go for it. Any cacher can do an ISQ. Uh, not exactly. Cachers who want to join the quest as hiders need to contact us first. If they are literate and agree to our "8 simple Rules", as listed on our profile page, they're in!! ISQ has standards to maintain...

Cemetery caches.
INDIANA SPIRIT QUEST replied to Manville Possum's topic in General geocaching topics
Not a good idea. That's when the vandals are there. Most cemeteries around here are closed dusk to dawn... -
Ok? Distateful? or just plain wrong?
INDIANA SPIRIT QUEST replied to Knight2000's topic in General geocaching topics
Spirit Quest. For some reason unknown to me this is what many cemetery caches have in their title. Our brand of "Spirit Quest" caches began in 2004 with the Indiana Spirit Quest series which now numbers over 600 caches placed in and around cemeteries, by numerous cacher teams., usually honoring veterans and local pioneers who may be buried there. The cache pages are characterized by photos and historical notes about the locale and prominent local people or events. The Quest has spread to many other states, and hiders that are aligned to the original Quest agree to abide by strict guidelines, which generally include respect for the area of the hide and a prohibition on night caching in cemeteries. The various series have spawned many copycat series, of which this cache may be one. I suspect that most of our members would not have chosen the wording in this cache's title, as we are all about RESPECT. Visit our profile page for more info about our cache series, if you are interested. -

For the most part, we like cemetery caches, if they are tastefully done... -
We have updated your stats. What guidelines are you referring to?
