"Back then" could we always tell what exact number of finds we had at the moment, nowaday it is "somewhere between 300 and 400"... I wonder what CCCooperAgency says, "I think we have found somewhere between 4000 and 8000 caches." (a span of 4000 caches ) Quote Link to comment

We've spent this entire week caching...so I dont think our quick pace will continue--but it IS a sense of accomplishment! Quote Link to comment

+flask Posted May 10, 2004 Share Posted May 10, 2004 congratulations. you do not have to impress anyone. my friend crashco always says that the important number is always one more than you had yesterday. me, i'm thinking of picking a wierdo number to celebrate as a milestone; who says 72 or 396 or 584 can't be milestones? the key thing is that you like the number. since you like it, i'm happy for you. really. i am. i'm singing the congratulations song, only you're not here to enjoy the full benefit of it. i guess the real accomplishment isn't 50, though. the real accomplishment is going out there and doing it. every last single one. every one you find is one more you can claim. so good for you. may you find many more. I have not been able to go out again and it's nearly killing me! We went out of town to visit my in-laws for mother's day and I said, "Hey, I forgot my geocaching book!". My wife was not amused.
