+cacheKidds Posted January 23, 2004 Posted January 23, 2004 I really like LCs and I'm thinking about asking to adopt a couple that have been archived. But after looking at the thread below, it seems like some folks really do doctor their pictures. I really did not think this was a huge problem but after seeing some examples (and one guy with loads of examples), I'm a little worried and a lot irritated. I mean, doing this can keep someone else from playing fair and logging that Kugel Ball fountain or Cable Ferry. Does anyone know how much this happens with LCs? Thanks http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=63215 Quote
+Renegade Knight Posted January 23, 2004 Posted January 23, 2004 I think most people give it a good effort even if their intrepetation is 'off'. Quote
+briansnat Posted January 23, 2004 Posted January 23, 2004 (edited) Someone once posted a link where you can automatically Photoshop Mr Gigabyte's GPS into any photo. That was pretty funny, but hopefully people weren't using it to cheat. Edited January 23, 2004 by briansnat Quote

+stu_and_sarah Posted January 23, 2004 Posted January 23, 2004 Hehe. I recently asked an admin if it would be a bad idea to create an account purely for 'not visiting virtuals and locationless caches'. I wanted a whole account just for photoshopping forgeries, and researching virtuals. It was suggested people wouldn't like it, so I never did it. I can't believe people do this from their main account and actually count them as finds... Cheers, Stu Quote

That way, you wouldn't really be "padding" numbers, or cheating, or anything else that would get ya whacked in the forums! Quote
+Imajika Posted January 24, 2004 Posted January 24, 2004 You guys thought aliens made those crop circles. It was really me. I was wandering around looking for a cache! Quote
