Traveling Jones
I havent been on in a while, and was wondering what everyone was using for logbooks for traditional and micros. I thought there might have been some new revalations in the past few months in reguards to logbooks. Isnt there some link to where you can purchase some if you dont want to use the usual spiral notebook? thanks TravelingJones Quote Link to comment
briansnat
For traditionals I just use a small, spiral bound notepad (I found that the glued ones started coming apart after a few finds). For micros, I either cut the notepad into 1/3rds (for decon boxes), or I use a long rolled up sheet of lined paper (for Bison cylinders and film canisters). Quote Link to comment
CYBret
For decon sized logbooks I've used stringbound memo pads. They have that black and white cover like the old "Theme books." Being string bound, they can be cut down to a size that fits into the container without having to worry about cutting the wire. Bret Quote Link to comment
Team Tecmage
We too have used small spiral notepads and paper rolls. Back in the old days, we used a password with one cache. Quote Link to comment
QuickKarl
for my micros i use a cash reg. tape roll paper. i fold it like an accordian. i tape the begining to one of my cards. Quote Link to comment
rusty_tlc
Anybody ever unroll a tootsie pop "stick" the paper is very thin compared to normal printer paper. You could probably double the size of the log for a micro. Just somthing thats been rolling around in my mind for a while. Quote Link to comment

Cache Viking
I have been using Surveying Field Books that I have for the 5 cache containers I recently made. Only one has been placed and is presently waiting for approval. These books are not cheap but they are very rugged and still work when wet or very wet. You can see and purchase them here. Write in the Rain Field Books These people also sell GPSR's Quote Link to comment
T10X
I use Post-it notes cut to fit for micros. I find all kinds of interesting note books at the local close-out store, Big Lots. Quote Link to comment
Navdog
I use memo books that are perfect bound. This means that each individual sheet is glued to the spine, they can be opened flat without damage to the spine. The pages won't fall out even under considerable use. They have fifty sheets and you can use an exacto knife and a sturdy straight edge to cut them to any size. I've easily cut them down to 1/2 in. wide by one inch in length. +Team BlackZ
I use the spiral notebook in a ziplock bag, and also have an official Geocache logbook and cache ready to place, but haven't found a good place yet. Quote Link to comment
