ajgeocachers Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 I want to create the biggest geocache in the world. Quote
+TriciaG Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 Basically, a whole building appears to be the largest geocache container. Quote
+Jayeffel Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 I think there is a coffin in Europe, possibly Germany. But may not be the biggest. Quote
+K13 Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 I've seen one that was an old car. I've heard of one that was made from a shipping container (53 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 7 feet tall. Quote
+DerDiedler Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 (edited) I´ve found one which was a hut. Yep. The container was a hut, big enoug for tons of large swag, 6 adults, a couple of beers and verry good atmosphere Edited November 4, 2018 by DerDiedler Quote
+JohnCNA Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 This one is an entire building. You sign the outside of the building to log it. Check the gallery for photos. https://coord.info/GC2XZER Quote

+Jayeffel Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Might not make it out there today, minimum 13 hour 14 minute drive, 897 miles from home. Be kind of hard to do when you don't like graffiti! Quote

+igator210 Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 There is a Caboose in California ( https://coord.info/GC2T6JE ), a Church in Virginia ( https://coord.info/GC36192 ) and a silo in Ohio ( https://coord.info/GC22PZV ) There is also a shipping container in California, but I don't know the GC number Quote

While the cache is in the caboose, the caboose is not the container. The cache listing indicates a regular size container and a photo taken on 4 Nov 2017 shows the actual container. Quote

I'll have to retract my statement about the Silo and the Church then, since they both had a secondary container inside them when I visited. Thanks for spotting my mistake. I don't know about the shipping container, I haven't been to that one yet. Quote

+GO Geiger Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 Kind of a mess, apparently, but there's https://coord.info/GC1R6A7. It's a brick shed/TB hotel. It looks like it may have fallen into a bit of disrepair. There's also something similar in West Virginia (maybe?). Quote
