+K13
Haha, I understand 88 but 140? 140 KPH (metric units) is 88 MPH. I had to do the double-take myself. Metric system cars have the speedo with the Metric numbers over the ones we use. Quote Link to comment

+SwineFlew
The last time I was in Canada, I was with a bunch of kids that was going a little over 170kmh. Edited April 18, 2013 by SwineFlew Quote Link to comment

Seems like you missed the indicator showing that I was heading North, transmision in Drive, battery at about 14V, RPMs below 4600. Quote Link to comment

+hzoi
Taking a photo of a travel bug while driving 140 kph? Not the preferred technique, but it's one way to get the job done. I won't be driving around Calgary any time soon, but please do give me a heads up the next time you're on US highways so I can make sure I'm elsewhere. Quote Link to comment

+Viajero Perdido
Hmm, after dark - EXIF says 9:30pm, and the flash fired. How do you see stuff like deer at the side of the road at 140km/h, when you just set off a flash inside the car? Even without flash, that's way over-driving any normal headlights. I'd like to believe you shot the picture in a garage, with the car on a hoist. Edited April 18, 2013 by Viajero Perdido Quote Link to comment
nonaeroterraqueous
I'd like to believe you shot the picture in a garage, with the car on a hoist. If the wheels are turning at 35 mph or more without a load, the tires will explode. Quote Link to comment

Near Olds... ps, a phone flash aimed away from you at dusk (not really dark out yet) doesn't hurt the old night vision too much... pps, did you manage to pull the geotag data off of there too? +The A-Team
did you manage to pull the geotag data off of there too? Galaxy SII HD LTE. No geotagging, so you either removed it before uploading it or have that setting turned off on the phone. Quote Link to comment

I guess that's why all the cars in the movie chase scenes never leave the ground (remember Bullit). And what about the high-speed tire balance machine at the tire store? I've had cars in my own garage with the rear tires raised and the speedo reading over 80. Quote Link to comment
