  1. FYI, I cross posted this to a local group, hopefully it will help. http://www.magpi.us/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2180
  2. How are you planning to produce 1.21 gigawatts?
  3. The next Athens Coffee meeting hasn't posted yet that I saw (probably defered because of the geocoin event) but there's a cookout in Lancaster http://coord.info/GC3NXDP on July 22nd. the Coffee is typically in Athens at the Donkey Coffee place.
  4. "We needed to go up that road we just passed"
  5. I'm in Charleston. Most of the people at that board seem to be around Fairmont/Morgantown. Neither of those are "Eastern" I suppose. Here's part of one of our recent logs Drove up To the trail head and made the find after a short hike. Now, our daughter (she's 3) believes in hiding it better than you found it. She piled some leaves up on the cache. So now it's either going to be much harder to find or obvious that it's where the leaves are.
  6. You may want to check out http://www.magpi.us/phpBB3/index.php Also, we have a 3 year old that caches with us. We've taken her on a couple of quarter/half mile hikes, but mostly stick to cemetery caches. Sometimes she'll stay in the car while her mom and I make grabs (as long as we can still see the car). If we all get out, then one of us watches while the other caches.
  7. No, we live in Kenna, but Spencer isn't that far to go for some good caches.
  8. So far for me, it's been the Spencer/Roane Country area, where WVAngler (along with others) has made an effort to put out all different kinds of caches (hard ones, easy ones, earth cache, Wherigo, puzzles, the Black Walnut Trail, etc) Then around Kenna and Ripley, jbgrug has put out a bunch of head scratchers, and the Taylors, 3good_geocachers, and several others have put out some good ones. I still have a lot of places to go, though.
  9. I had a similar experience on the iphone. If I hit location or inventory this screen pops back up. When I hit Locations, the page with the pointer and distnace pops up, then the screen below pops up again. Hope this helps. If you have further questions, let me know. I figured putting a a picture of my home coordinates might not be the smartest thing to do.
