TheWeatherWarrior
With the 2,000,000 cache getting ready to be placed....now guess when the 3,000,000 cache will be placed. If there is a tie, the tie breaking criteria is as follows: What Country? if that is a tie, what size cache? if that is also a tie, what type of cache? Quote Link to comment
T.D.M.22
It will be placed exactly after the 2,999,999th cache Quote Link to comment

Great Scott!
It will be placed exactly after the 2,999,999th cache ...and then again after 10 caches are archived and 10 new caches are published. Quote Link to comment

Don_J
The 3,000,000th cache has already been placed. that many archived already? It's hard for us to say how many have been published but there have been over 3.4 million GC#'s assigned. Quote Link to comment
jellis
How do we know if it hadn't passed. The countdown only shows active (unarchived) caches right? So then how many including inactive caches? I thought the 2 million would be how many placed not how many are active. Quote Link to comment
TheWeatherWarrior
Grounspeak will make an announcement when the 1st cache reaches each benchmark (2 million or 3 million). True, it will go back and forth, but I'm saying the "official" 3 millionth! At the moment, only 300+/- from 2 mil, but that will fluctuate of course. Quote Link to comment
