Just as I was placing my order for the Crimson Dawn and Twilight Vengeance versions, the mailman was coming down my road. He delivered the Royal Mercy version today - stunning!

WOW - glad I got outta bed and got mine when I did!!! Crimson Dawn is now sold out and there is only 1 Twilight Vengence left. Get in quick if you want it!

I was told to open a new thread for this coin so here it is:

Assassin's Respite:

Trackable: Yes

Unique icon: Yes

Versions:

Crimson Dawn (red and antique silver, shown below)

Twilight Vengence (blue and antique silver)

Royal Mercy (purple and antique gold

Well I'm confused now. I just got an email from Oakcoin saying that the Royal Mercy (purple) was mixed up at the mint and sent in a antique copper finish instead of antique silver, but the antique silver version would be available in about three weeks.

Does that mean that there might be more 'unexpected' versions showing up soon?

In that email, it should have stated an option to get either one. The copper would be an LE, according to the email, or you could choose to get the silver re-mint, but would have to wait a few more weeks.

I get that Royal Mercy in antique copper is a LE.

The confusing part however is that there will be a re-mint of Royal Mercy in antique silver. So far I only knew about a Royal Mercy in antique gold.

Did I miss the initial antique silver version?

The mint reminted the Royal Mercy in Antique Copper instead of Antique Gold. Not sure why since AG was submitted. Emma at Oakcoins thought it was supposed to be Antique silver. Currently there is no AS version. V1 is AG. V2 is AC. The AG will be reminted, the AC is now a limited edition that will be on sale soon, as well as 50 will be saved for GCF EU.

Confusing... sorry.

Ok, to clear up the coinfusion. The royal mercy was reminted. Both the original run and 2nd run were in antique gold. The purple makes them look copper under bad light or at quick glance. There was no order put in for antique silver and purple.

So currently there are 5 versions:

Crimson Dawn: red AS

Twilight Revenge: blue AS

Royal Mercy: purple AG

Nights Watch: black AS (not available yet)

King's Own: red and black AS (not available yet)

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...

Thanks for the update, Mark. I feel much better now

Any idea, when those two new versions will be showing up?

The orders were filled and mailed yesterday. The leftovers will go onto Geoswag when the numbers have been counted and a safety stock is set back.

I've received just now the Royal Mercy w/Purple, ...and for a moment I did not understand anything, because it seemed to me AG, instead AC

Fortunately I reread this thread and the confusion has been resolved

Good, cause I will find it hard to explain again! Here are the photos of all the versions:

I love these coins, Especially Royal Mercy! I thought I had preordered mine but alas I must have hit the button twice so I missed out! I really need to keep a closer eye on these forums. Thanks for the great designs!

COuld you explain the coin in detail, what it represents....

The Assassin's Respite was made in response (and adversary) to the musketeer coin. I love historical themes...
