pax339
It will be a year next Monday that my Grandfather Everett Leroy Small passed away I recently placed a cache in his memory. I bet he would have loved geocaching. He was very much into puzzles and electronic toys! Our finger prints dont fade from the lives we touch! This cache is my finger print in memory of an amazing, grandpa, dad and brother! ♥ I have yet to find or hear about any other caches placed in memory of someone. Has anyone out there placed or found one before? Whats the story behind the cache? Edited March 25, 2011 by pax339 Quote Link to comment

+CachinStrattons
Hover around the cemeteries, and I'm sure you will find that this is a VERY common practice. My most recent find was placed by an acquaintance of mine, and was done in memory of her best friend growing up: GC2QPAW Go for it. Nobody is going to stop you, and if the idea of placing a cache in memory of him makes you feel better, or like you are doing something for him... place it! I'd go find it! Quote Link to comment

+jmw61
My condolences. I have not found a memorial cache yet, but I would definitely do them if they were available in my neck of the woods. Quote Link to comment
+btonyb
Others have pointed out various caches. There are also plenty of TBs floating around "in memory".... Here is a recent one that I helped move along : http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=1757957 TB Quote Link to comment
