+roziecakes
I'm not sure how the sizes in Sweden compare to American sizes, but I would go on Google and look for size comparison charts perhaps? Edited August 4, 2010 by nymphnsatyr Quote Link to comment
+DragonsWest
I'm not sure how the sizes in Sweden compare to American sizes, but I would go on Google and look for size comparison charts perhaps? Measurements, as has been stated, vary by manufacturer. I bought cycling jerseys from European sellers on eBay and online shops and found northern Europe and Southern Europe vary at least one size, if not two. I.e. XL for Sweden may be XXL in Italy. Always go with larger - you can shrink it in the wash. Quote Link to comment

Actually, I've found that the only ones that shrink are those you don't want to shrink I had a terrible time, when staying at a brother's house for a while. My mother would come over, while I was at work and do laundry (basically wash anything which wasn't hung up.) A few of my irreplaceable sweat shirts went from XL to M after a visit to the dryer on High. Anything I'm the least bit worried about shrinking I give about 20 minutes flopping around on lowest setting then air dry the remainder. Seems to work well for fleece-lined sweatshirts/hoodies. True - Americans do run on the large side. Canadians as well, especially the ones of Scandinavian descent... As for sizing... he could try the sizing charts for Sears Canada... I find they are usually pretty close, it's just me that is off size. Avoid Asian sizing... I find they get the chest and waist sizes and lengths OK, but they don't seem to have the knack for arm and leg diameter to match... some I can't even get my appendages into... like does anyone have skinny arms and legs...?? Now you have to get Earthshirts - which will be on display in the Nevada desert around some big wooden sculpture - not suitable for kids. Quote Link to comment
