+busterbabes
Tweezers are my most used TOTT. I do carry string, magnets, extendable mirror, and leatherman tool in my cachebag. Can never be unprepared! Quote Link to comment
+CaptCosmic
Trail Mix. I swear my kids think they will starve to death if I don't bring snacks for the 2 hour hunt around the local park. John Quote Link to comment
+J-Way
In some parts of the US, a cell phone is a TOTT. To call and get someone else to tell you where it it. Quote Link to comment

+Blueflashlight
Band-Aids. I started leaving bandaids (among other items) in the caches I find after the first trip. Big bandaids. Quote Link to comment

krishildy
I'm new to this too. Can someone explain to me what we would do with string, magnets, an extendable mirror, and leatherman tool? In other words, why are they tools of the trade? Thanks for your patience. Krishildy Tweezers are my most used TOTT. I do carry string, magnets, extendable mirror, and leatherman tool in my cachebag. +Albanysquad
TOTT: Whatever ya' didn't bring with ya'. Too true, my friend, too true. Good tools to bring are flashlights (to see into dark caves or crevices); tweezers (to get rolled logs out of those pesky micro and nano caches); a jacket (in case you need to shield your face with your arms as you crash your way through brambles or bushes); sunscreen (to avoid getting sunburned); money (to take public transportation and a good thing to have on hand); and food (to keep your energy up).
